Yes it does but you need to be a little more descrite about it than what Kevin Rody is proposing. Seversl of the ledies do provide but when they are working at one of the booths when you ask them they will deny or ignore the comment. All of the ladies get paid by the company they are working for and the company does not want their name associated with these activities. AS many have mentioned the Circle Bar is an excelent place to meet the ladies also schedule ahead of time to avoid any uncomfortable conversations in the show.

"I think" it provides more opportunities to make connections for easier access when they do visit your town. Getting hooked up is a different story.

The girls that are going to AVN / AEE (if they are well known) will be very busy working the booths at signings, attending private parties thrown by the production companies and doing private sessions with movers and shakers that can help move their careers along. Among all this, there are opportunities for private sessions, but it's not a free-for-all.

Months ago I was all set to go to AVN / AEE and then business dropped off to the point where I had to hold off for yet another year. With the economy being what it is - the convention will be what you make of it. Some may see the situation as glass half full because less attendance means more chances to connect with your favorite porn star - if she's there. Others may see the glass half empty because there's not enough action to make it worthwhile.

If you start laying the ground-work well in advance of the AVN, it offers a hell of a lot more opportunities to meet and spend some time with a pornstar or two or three or....

but i guess ONE good thing about going to the AVN (if u have the funds and the stamina) is that so many PS will be at one place at one time.  i'd do my research before approaching anyone, though.  wouldnt want to have a "Lisa Ann" experience.  (you can look up posts re:Lisa Ann if u dont know what i'm talking about!)
