I was thinking that it will NOT be the first time a girl auctioned off her virginity, rather claim of virginity! They don't all make the headlines, but there must be girls on BP or elsewhere making such repeated claims.

Another thing ... one of the reasons for wanting a virgin is to go bareback because, not having had sex, she should not have any STDs. (Of course, you CAN get STDs withing vaginal penetration, but you get my point.) I think that in NV or at least based on policies reported here on TER, that a cover is mandatory. Paying for a virgin but not getting the "benefit" of BB from a virgin?

And the article says that Hof is getting 50% of the amount paid. I think she should have capped his cut, "50% up to $250,000, then 0%." Or a sliding scale: 0-500,000 50%; 500,001-1,000,000 25%; 1,000,001-up 0%.

You can be born with an STD. Some STDs, like HIV, are transmitted genetically and babies can be born already infected. I'm just trying to debunk a myth - you can be a total virgin and still have an STD. However, I know that before any female can work in a brothel, even if it's for one night, they have to be checked out by a doctor so if she has an STD, the session probably won't happen. I hope the guy gets his money back.
While the law requires the use of condoms at all the brothels, that doesn't necessarily mean that condoms are always used. There's no inspector checking out each session to make sure condoms are used and it's pretty much on the "honor" system. However, if it becomes known that condoms are not being used on a regular basis at any of the legal brothels, that brothel will likely get shut down. But I have heard, from reliable sources, that it is possible to go bare with some of the girls at some of the brothels if you have enough money and I have heard that some high profile celebrities have been invited to partake... for huge sums of money. I have also heard that there is a special trailer at one particular brothel that is for the sole purpose of bareback parties when one of those "special" celebs visits. I will not give details because I don't want anyone to get into trouble. And I believe the source of the information.
