Nobody has really ever used the chat room. It is one of those things.
At my gym I like to play hoop. But when you pass the gym and nobody is in there playing, then people don't go in. So 10 people that would play could pass by and nothing forms that day. But if one person goes in and shoot then it draws some interest. Then there are 3 people, then 7, eventually you're running full court. (This metaphor can also be used on the bar scene...lol)

The PS Board, IMO has some of the most reliable and consistant members. I would say if you started something, people would participate as long as things were interesting.
