I have wondered if that would be a good idea or not.  I would really like to hear if that has been successful for someone in the past.

Translation:
If you buy a PS a gift through Amazon, and it is strictly out of the kindness of your heart, then it's a great idea.  Most likely they will feel good inside upon receiving your gift.  That in itself should be enough to justify doing it.  However, don't expect a free private session or something like that in return if that's what you're looking for.  And if you get an unexpected thank you note or something simple of that nature, then you will feel good as well.  By the way, this also applies in life, not just in this hobby.   Cheers!

the key is what you say in the message on the gift. give them your email and tell them why you sent the gidt and how generous you will be on a date.
