Number 6,
I have no regrets of my recent meeting and to tell everyone the truth, after viewing the video several times, it was just what I was told could happen but nothing more and/or worse.
I did accomplished some goals others told me I wouldn't and I'm glad I did. As it turn out, I am benefiting from it BIG TIME in many ways.
I new, CLEARLY, what I was getting into as in other meetings were I was warned and succeeded such as with Gorgeous Farrah (One hell of a meeting and LADY) and many others, but it was not the case this time and that's OK (You win some and you loose some, very similar to the stock markets). I am still alive, happy and looking forward to my next meeting. Yes, I would go against all odds again if I were given the opportunity with another provider with similar traits.
I like and seek the challenge even if I fail, but at least I can say that I tried and gave it my best shot.
Cheers,
Doc

Sasha called me earlier this evening to tell me that she has cut her NYC fees down to $1K/Hr with additional discounts for multiple hours.
I don't need to tell you all the PSE/GFE experiences that Sasha has given me 1 on 1 several times and with her girlfriends too. Her reviews talk for themselves.
When calling for an appointment just tell them about Doc's post and you will do fine.
Not to be missed guys......
Doc
PS. On another important note, I guess either the economy is finally hitting this hobby hard and the Agencies are readjusting themselves, Agencies and providers are listening to our constants pledges or both. Whichever is the case, is all right for me. Nikita Denise has also lowered her fees by $300 for single hours and by $400 for multiple hours ONLY in San Francisco were she is currently.

It sorts of begs the question, what is a fair price for a PSE? The way I see it, you are purchasing a license to say you had sex with a famous PS, not to dissimilar to being on a private game ranch ( FTR, I only enjoy hunting for kittycat).
If the actress enjoys a famous name and a great reputation for supplying the experience, she deserves top dollar, no different than negotiating her services, for say, a feature length video.
What I am having trouble comprehending is that the PSE thing is truly a wealthy man's hobby (unless you are the rare sort that can work the system like the Good Doctor). Has the number of men who can afford $1000 and up dwindled so badly in the last couple of years, or is there a general perception that such fees were overpriced to begin with?
Anyone want to take a shot at solving this riddle?
Well thought out question. I have always thought the PSE was perhaps over rated and definitely over priced. I did see ebony Sierra in Vegas recently, who had a very reasonable donation (700/2) which was in line with other top Vegas escorts. Sierra rocked my world, and used some of her porn film techniques on me which were awesome to be sure.
But the question is not about comparing a top porn lady who has good escort reviews, to her film pay scale, it's about comparing her to other escorts who provide the PSE/GFE, and do it at an escorts scale. I have gotten over the top service, Asian, Greek, DFK, multi, from ladies like Tori in Vegas, Alana Allure on her San Diego tours, and Griff in South Carolina. And for rates much less than what some PSE's require.
There is no riddle, if you have the spare funds to pursue PSE then go for it, but if you're still interested in value, there are ladies out there that provide a comparable experience without having their name on a porn vid box. MfSD.
To add 2 cents to both post I would say as far as the rate changes go, it's probably both. Meaning that yes the economy is bad enough that providers will have to bring the rates down sooner or later and also, guys who can afford it, just don't see the difference sometimes. If you can get everything from an escort that a porn star will give you then the only thing missing is the camera. Not all porn stars let you film so where does that leave you. You are basically paying just to be with one. Therefore those richer gents are probably just going to the escort who charges between 200 and 500 that offers PSE. Pornstars and agencies will have to recognize this sooner or later. Bottomline, if you find an escort who does all the things a pornstar would do and charges a hell of alot less, well.....
Unless you really wanted to be with one and i think every guy would want at least one experience. Like anything else, depends on your preference and you wallet!!
Like every product, you can always expect to pay a premium for the top brands... and like every product, some brands ARE worth it. A good value is not necessarily inexpensive.
Certainly, the economy has made $1000 look like more money than it was 1-2 years ago. I know AMPs for example are doing a lot more HJs as customers cannot routinely afford FS (I know one poor girl who wound up with a repetitive stress injury from administering so many HJs... she was looking forward to providing FS to get some rest!) and it follows that the restriction will follow on up through the various provider levels.
But the $1k does not buy a PSE, it buys a celebrity fuck. The aformentioned AMP girl I mentioned is an amazing PSE for $200(I have told her she should think about porn but she is "shy"... go figure) and I know many here have payed $1k for much less than a PSE with a "star".
Personally, I am willing to pay the full price for a few (Miko Lee, Sasha Vinni) because it is a true PSE plus fantasy fullfillment... also (unlike most porn stars) they are truly beautiful. So I buy value...
If you just want status, buy a Maserati and you will probably be able to leverage a few PSEs out of that alone...
O.
Personally, I think this is much less of an economics question as it is a psychology question.
The reality is that sex is free. The world's oldest profession is an exception to the rule and an almost infinitely small percentage of all the sex acts going on around the world. Small enough to be statistically insignificant. I was first introduced to relationships for hire as a teenage sailor in the US Navy in Europe in the pre-AIDS day. I can say without any hesitation that the most kinky, satisfying, wild, sexy, attractive sexual partners I have had were female freinds and former girlfriends in college and grad school in the current AIDS world and not pornstars or professionals. No pornstar could ever hope to match the performance of a woman who was having sex with me out of desire and not finances.
******SPEAKING IN GENERALITIES**********
When a woman decides to do something that is criminal, and which has a significant social stigma attached to it, there has to be appropriate compensation. After the stigma wears off there is less negative cost which must be weighed against the benefit of financial compensation and prices may drop. This must be balanced against the very real economics of supply and demand, reputation, brand loyalty and competing market factors which, in turn, must be balanced against significant others, personal relationships, and emotional baggage.
When a man decides to do something which is illegal and which has significant social stigma, he often is initially driven to make that choice based on overwhelming desire for a certain person which, by definition, is worth a great deal of money. After that initial hurdle is jumped, subsequent arrangements don't have the same financial worth (usually).
Finally, we have the world of porn itself which has been evolving to the point where it is able to support this specialized underground economy. My personal opinion is that the future of a PSE is going to become more diffused--cheaper for some and more expensive for others.
1) My take has always been that virtually all sex is transactional. Yes, there are exceptions, but they are far and few between and certainly would not apply to 99.9% of those who read these pages.
2) The PSE already is diffused. Then again, there are exponentially more girls doing porn, and hooking to make extra dough, than, say 20 years ago. You can find PSEs for as little as $200, or as much as $25,000. As I suggested above, it all depends on the kind of game you're hunting.
3) Doc, I found your comment about the respectful discussion interesting. We are on the same team after all. If a gentleman wants to go directly to Nici or the Russians or a like agency, and pay retail, whom are we to interfere? While many take great pains to distinguish a PSE from a GFE, the bottom line is that even with the PSE, the better experiences require some sort of connection, as you found out recently the hard way.
If you have a deal with a major agency to see their ladies at a discount, well, my hat's off to you. You figured out how to play the game better than others and no one has any room for complaint or jealousy.
I looked at this from a purely academic perspective. While the answers above were helpful, for the most part they were unfortunately nonresponsive. An actress who does privates is an independent businesswoman, if she finds this a suitable way to connect with her fans, then she should consider as part of her business plan how easy (or perhaps how expensive) is should be to gain access to her. In that vein, I'm still waiting to hear from the actress we discussed privately earlier in the week!

1) Without defining the way you are using the term "transactional" there isn't alot of meaning there, but I think I know the way that most guys would interpret that statement and I disagree with that.
It is, of course, common for men to think of sex as being "transactional". I think that is a complete myth. I also believe that this becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy for the majority of men who believe this.
The fact is that this way of viewing sex between consenting adults has creeped into movies, jokes, and the common vernacular. How many cliched lines in movies have you seen when a guy is discussing getting a prostitute and claims he doesn't want to have to pay for sex. What is the obligatory next line??? We all know it and have heard it a million times. Hey guys, wake up! That is a joke, not gospel.
There are 2 huge reasons why this way of thinking bothers me enough to beat a dead horse here with this response. One, it represents a "caveman" approach to relationships and ignores everything that has happened socially in the last 4 decades. Two, (like I already said) it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
2) MORE diffused
3) The act of making personal connections is something alot of men want very much to avoid. Everybody knows that it is cheaper to do simple auto repair and maintenance yourself instead of taking your car to a nationwide chain auto-repair shop. There are guys who brag endlessly about the work they do on their cars both to show off that they CAN do it and to brag about the money they saved doing it themselves. What these guys overlook is that there are many guys who brag just as much (in a more subtle way) by taking their car in to have it worked on by somebody else even though they could have easily done it themselves. They are bragging by stating that they are successful enough not to care about the added expense andthat they are somehow "above" the menial act of physical mechanical labor.
There are many guys who would prefer to use an agency and would feel it was too personal and obsessive to develop a personal interaction with the women. Agencies offer the sanitary illusion of distance and that is what many men are paying for in order to claim that this is an occasional dalliance afforded them by their status in life and not a lifestyle obsession.
Personally, I would say that I'm neither.
Possibly oblah feels that those of us who frequent these boards are all just losers and so socially inept that we all have to pay for "it". I don't feel a need to debate this point.
Oblah refers to the changes that have happened in society over the last 40 years, by which I assume he refers to the "equality of the sexes", birth control pills etc. This ignores the basic biological differences (built upon billions of years of evolution) that underpin us all, and trump 40 years of social advancement.
There is an inherent sexual inequality between men and women, which makes men the buyers and women the sellers. The best looking man in the world can go into a bar, and maybe (just maybe) he'll score that night. On the other hand, pretty much the worst looking woman can go into a bar and be assured that she'll get laid, if she want to.
What accounts for this sexual asymmetry? Oh, I don't know, just maybe a billion years of evolution. After all, human eggs are very expensive to make (just one per month), while sperm comes by the truck-load. The woman has to make sure that not only are her eggs taken care of, but also that she and her progeny are provided for by the male (or males) in her life. Those instincts trump everything else, including the last 40-years of so-called social advancement.
So how does this play out for the hapless male? Well, he can develop a long-term relationship with a woman (i.e., marriage), and promises to pay 50%+ of everything he has. Alternatively, he can have a girlfriend, who likely he'll be financially supporting in one way or another. And lastly, he can go into short-term rental relationships, such as those seen on these boards.
Frankly, I don't see the 'free' aspect in any of this. Our actions simply mirror the biological imperatives that are imprinted on our genetic code. When we as males go after females, we'll use every trick in the book: flashing muscles, green pieces of paper, hot cars, big homes, even talking to them. But hey, why not? It's all part of our job description.

Oh my Gosh!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never been so completely misunderstood in anything I have ever said in my entire life, from before I was able to speak in diapers to the moment that I am writing these words, that has been the most I have ever been misunderstood in my entire life. I am completely shocked. Please tell me that there is somebody out there who wasn't so confused by what I wrote???!!!!!?????
My 2cents is that us hard working guys at all income levels try to find some gratification. Some wealthy like buying MB's and others prefer a good med price. All in all, I prefer value for the money. If you think you got value for the money and she stays up there on your hot list great. But when you are horny again a few days later ya gotta wonder. Should I break the $1k down and get three ladies for three hours spread over the week. I personally like to stretch it out. There are plenty of ladies on TER here who without the name on the marguis probably perform as well or better.
Like I say, some like to brag they did a well known PSE, for me, the more bang for the buck often does not mean I gave up quality, or quantity
