so i just booked my trip back home and i decided to stop and get my feet wet in  london from the 21st till including the 25th leaving the 26th.
and if all goes well i might stop in NYC on my way back home. the 27th/28th and 29th.
what should i know?
how is photogirls?
i will be listed with them.
what else? anything ..... help!!!!!!!!!

Photogirls IMO can be hot or cold, have in the past used the Bait and switch.

There are lots of girls advertised by them, pornstars, models etc

who would I pick to advertise?
Go as an indie and use carious sites to help your advertisement

American dollars to Euros or Pounds, the exchange rate is pathetic.

You're probably thinking Pounds, not Euros.

As bad as it is, the exchange rate has actually been getting better recently.  (I guess that depends on which side you're on.  :-))

Definitely let us know your experience with Photogirls.  I may be in London early next year and am wondering about using them.

Photogirls is an ok agency nowadays. Some years ago this was different(many fake pics), but it really seems they have bettered their life.

Another option for you is to contact Claudia from http://www.alluring-escorts.co.uk/
This agency has an excellent reputation and is well known by hobbyists in London.

The main review site for London is captain69.co.uk
Here you can also read agency reviews and it also has a separate forum for providers.

Think its a good investment but realize that 90+% is related to the London "market".

Lex's suggestion about Captain 69 is sound.  However, I had noticed that Photogirls still receives some complaints about their service and the accuracy of pictures.

As for the exchange rate, it bears keeping in mind that the Brits don't compare their currency to ours when pricing services at home.

But, you had asked this question more than a year ago on a Yahoo group.  Since I am no longer a VIP member, I can't PM you the link.  So, I decided to include it here.

Most of what Lex says is correct, especially the part about contacting Claudia at Allure. There are often a few touring pornstars on her site and she has a very good reputation for looking after her girls.
Captain 69 is a good starting place for getting an idea of the London scene.
Most touring pornstars seem to charge around 500 pounds, which will buy you around 900 to 1000 dollars.

One thing I'd point out is that being a porn star means nothing in Britain and I think you'd be hard-pressed to find many guys willing to pay the extra premium just because somoeone makes movies in America. Instead all you've got is a pretty lady who is charging considerably more than the competition.

When you've got home-grown and just as beautiful stars like Jamie Brooks (£350), Robyn Trulove (£300), Alicia Rhodes (£350), and Isabelle Ice (£250), or Crystal Crown (£250)visiting why would you fork out £500 plus?

Bear in mind too that there are thousands of attractive non-porn star providers availabe at rates ranging £100-£350 so you'll be up against plenty of competition. And since the porn star tag isn't a draw, you can see why it may be a struggle to get multi-bookings. That's probably why Carly Parker dropped her rate to £400 when she was over here recently.

And then there's the whole economic situation...!

I travel to London frequently, and am in fact currently in Amsterdam with a trip to London this weekend. All the comments thus far are spot on. The exchange rate is improving, that is the dollar against both the Euro and the Pound. The main driver is the competition among providers; there seems to be an abundance of extremely attractive and open providers in London town, which translates to very reasonable rates (exchange aside) for hobbyists. The chat about US pornstars commanding sub-US market rates in London is true. Euro porn stars who tour in London are available at very reasonable rates. IMHO, Photogirls and Bentley's are both trustworthy, though pricier than the indies.If the exchange were better, London would be a hobbyist's mecca.

ill be back in london end of month dru and my dates will probably overlap with yours.    ;-)

i can put you in touch with 2 very well known and extremely high end local providers there who i've seen previously - they know the market well and am sure can offer great advice and give you better feedback on photogirls.  

all i can say is that rates in London do tend to be cheaper in British pounds relative to US$ rates - as others have mentioned here already.

yet, there is a market for everyone, and some girls like the ones I mentioned above command rates more in line with what you're accustomed to here.

Demi Delia can prob give you good feedback - I think she was there a few months ago??
