It migh be worth mentioning that the only thing approacing a complaint that I have gotten from any provider is their concern that their particular entry does not have as much contact info as other ladies:  

"Why does so-and-so have an e-mail address, and a website, and a phone number, and I only have a TER link?"

-- and the answer is almost always the same:

I post what guys send me.  

So then the girl sends me more contact points and I post them next week.

But if any provider ever wanted her name off the list, I would happily do so.  As the thread says, The 300 Club is not for UTR girls or information.

I was reading the threads to the '300' post and wondered. We've all seen 2 or 3 ads for the same provider with different prices as well as out of date prices listed on TER profiles. I agree that "special" rates for "special" people should not be posted.

My initial thought is price is important to everyone and since the prices vary greatly why not post it if it's accurate and up to date. The prices are listed on the provider's page anyway.

Most provider pages are not even up to date. I wish TER would have a section in the provider page where they could place a recent picture of the providers and have more ability for hobbyists to keep the information updated.

Since for most men, the answer is yes, why would it be an issue if a lady advertises her rate or a guy mentions a lady's advertised rate?

If you go to the regional boards, the quality providers all list their rates in TER ads and/or link to EROS ads and web sites with the rates listed. While the percentage of quality PS providers listing their rates in the same ways is lower for some reason, but for those who do, why can't they post the rates on TER or why can't a guy repeat the rates?

I'm not sure why some of the people on this board want to surpress basic information that every hobbyist needs. Even if price is no object, you still need to know what the price is.

If folks want to eliminate prices, I guess they want to eliminate contact information, too.  Actually, I think some posters (anonymous providers?) would like to accomplish that: classify all competition as UTR)

Presumably, no guys are telling others about "private" or "special" rates, which a girl wouldn't honor for you anyway, which is an entirely different thing from the rates girls routinely charge directly to guys as compared to to when booked through an agency or service, that adds its fee on top (typically by doubling the direct-to-you rate, like any retail operation with overhead).

btw, The 300 Club list updates whenever someone submits a confirmed higher or lower price, so as far as I can tell (and since provider review pages don't update this info with new reviews), the 300 thread is the MOST accurate source of actual rates on TER.  Maybe THAT is what has some folks threatened.

It's very easy for a provider with an e-mail in her profile to change her rate on TER. All she has to do is contact TER from her e-mail address and request it to be changed. She can make sure that her web-site and ad site all have the same rate. Of course if she also gets work from an agency they may charge more, but ladies some make sure that rate is the same, which means she takes home less when booked through an agency.

With having rates from $300 - #3600, it drives me nuts when girls post ads w/ no indication of price (esp. when they want you to tell them all your info before giving a rate!)

The only time I've seen ads with no rate it's been B&S and up-sell if there's no review and no rate way would you even bother.

As for the 300 thread, anytime a hobbyist reports rates have changed, the list is updated by the next post.  And a few ladies have PM's directly to tweek their rates, and the list has been revised to state whatever price they indicate.  The list is a work in progress, but I think it is pretty accurate from the responses I have gotten from guys on the front lines.
