You know what is rigged.? The Constitution. It clearly says the President nominates a justice to the SCOTUS to fill a vacancy and the Senate has to hold hearings, approve or disapprove, if approved hold a vote in the Senate. Where does it say, the Senate has the power to refuse to hold a hearing? Just yesterday a top Republican gave a threat that if Hillary Clinton is elected, his party will not fill the vacancy at all for the next 4 years or 8 years if she gets re-elected. Again what it means, they will not hold any hearings.
It is the Constitution that is rigged for the system that we have now for filling vacancies in the Supreme Court.
