Rep. Ilhan Omar "squad" member and darling of socialists and communists (aka Democrats) has failed to win the endorsement of the far-left Star Tribune newspaper. Instead the Strib endorsed primary challenger Antone Melton-Meaux. The primary election is Tue Aug 11. . How much of a failed left-wing incumbent politician do you have to be to not get the Strib endorsement? What an embarrassment.
60/40 is certainly a win. But for an incumbent in her own party primary, it is not a ringing endorsement either. There is no doubt she'll win in November considering the district she represents.
Looks like the squad will still be around to drive trump/republicans nuts... They're a little too edgy for me but I like that their constitutions haven't given up on them. But I like a little edgy now. And it looks like these districts aren't listening to trump scare/BS tactic, which is good when you really think about it.
Pelosi is the one who they irritate. Pelosi is trying to hold on to whatever is left of the non-radical democrats. There is a reason the liberal Star Tribune didn't endorse Omar.
