Many Trump supporters are very upset with the results of the election, but somewhat assuaged by the fact that he’s left us a very conservative majority on the Supreme Court.

With this new Covid surge setting case records daily, people with comorbidities are very concerned. I imagine that concern runs deep at the Supreme Court, where comorbidities from old age to diabetes run the table.

The question is, if Covid-19 felled one of the Justices before Inauguration Day, would you support a Trump/McConnell confirmation/nomination, or would you want to wait for the newly sworn in president to handle that as his first order of business?

And if he was able to get a fourth SCOTUS confirmation, would you be able to carry yourself without the bitterness we saw from the Democrats and the MSM these past four years?

If Breyer, Sotomayor, or Kagan were to drop dead tomorrow and somehow Trump did manage to get a replacement Justice nominated AND confirmed before leaving office we better pray that GA doesn't go Blue in January or there will be no way to talk the lunatic left out of packing the court starting IMMEDIATELY after taking power.  

 
Not to mention, no way would Susan Collins, Mitch Romney or Murkowski vote for confirmation, and without them the question is moot.  

 
One other thing, no way could I EVER be as bitter and butt hurt as the Dims have been these last four years, I have pretty much resigned myself to a Biden or perhaps a Warren Presidency, I can only hope split power will limit the damage to this country, AND on a positive note, Biden will be good for oil prices, so if I get rich while the US turns into a third world country, I won't have to go visit all those third world countries I am so fond of, they'll come to me. lol

Don't be surprised if the GOP pull another stunt on Supreme Court.  

And we were always under the IMPRESSION that you WERE RICH beyond belief. So, in case you did not know Biden energy policy is in opposite of Trump and under Biden the drilling will not be easily achievable and Biden will emphasize in green energy such as solar, wind (yup the one that Trump claimed cause cancer) and he will be an impediment to actual oil man (not you) who seeks drilling.

So that above is conclusive that you must be working in gas station as attendant and hoping that you get additional tips because you are as CLUELESS as HELL as usual.

Given the glut on the oil market these days, the last thing an oil investor wants to see is more drilling and even lower prices.  If Biden switches the subsidy priorities to Green, and away from oil and gas, that also will push up energy prices and the CPI.  Looks like GaG has some nice profit margins to look forward to.

Oil will see some bump (doesn’t matter what Biden does) on the post-Covid global economic growth. One big caveat to offset that - the Main Street economy is not in a hurry to come back. Additionally, the part of the economy that uses oil such as transportation, travel etc. will never be or will take years to comeback to pre-Covid level.

Also, it is hard to make real money if the price goes up in slow pace. And, that’s how it will happen- if it happens.

Only a knee jerk movement in oil price like Iranian/ Middle East exploding can make someone rich but that’s only gambling and all bets are off.

Back to CAGG’s increased profit margin is a distant dream unless the price of used aluminum can jumps big time.

I agree that post-Covid economic growth will push oil prices higher.

But Biden is going in a completely opposite direction as Trump in regards to climate policy and fossil fuel production.  He’s outlined 10 Day One executive orders in regards to climate and energy policy.  Among them:
- Close ANWR to oil and gas drilling
- Reject all lease applications for new oil and gas development on federal lands nationwide
- Cut royalties on existing fossil fuel leases
- Increase reporting/accounting requirements for publicly traded companies
-Hinder pipeline permitting by requiring greenhouse gas emissions impact to be considered in the permit application process.

That’s just day one. If Biden gets a 50-50 Senate, he’ll also attempt to end fossil fuel subsidies.  

I think these Biden’s action will drive up the price of oil and gas to consumers, and am curious why you think US energy policy going forward won’t impact the price of fossil fuels?

In the long term may be yes but there are so many other confounding variable the oil price is not going to do much movement either way.
Only exception starting war in the middle east or something like that.
You have no clue about any of the items you wrote in regards to how it impact the profit of an oil pimp - your but buddy the imbecile CaCa.
Just for a brain teaser: consider one example from your list. Oil subsidy stopped (Biden will not do it right away) - but lets consider it for the sake of discussion. How do you think it will increase profitability of oil? (You seem to hint that ruinous righty the CaCa will make more in "profit margin" - your words not mine.  Hint: do not confuse between price and profit - Business 101 :)

Frankly, you should stay away from oil, middle east or for that matter any topic that requires actual data and logic based analysis - not just blind opinions!!!

Ending oil subsidies would reduce domestic production of oil without reducing domestic demand. Supply goes down, demand remains level and prices will go up.  

I’ve already stated Biden won’t do that right away because it’s dependent on legislation, but he has indicated that he’ll do it as soon possible.  

Back to your theory. Short of a war in the Middle East, you think a slowly recovering world economy will have a greater impact on the price of oil than a major policy shift from the #1 energy producer in the world?

Yes; mostly because what you call a major policy shift, will happen, if it does happen, in much slower pace! No body with some governing experience drops anything of importance of this magnitude - suddenly (unless done by trumpanzees and Trump; it simply shows their ignorance and no experience). These are generally, eased off or phased out ... of course, you trumpanzees are supposed to believe what Faux news teaches you in the contrary: World will come crushing when Biden is in charge - It will not because adults will be in charge from 1/20/21.

All the idiot lefties on this board think I support Trump because he is good for the oil business which when looking at it from purely a profit/loss perspective could not be further from the truth. The US is currently the biggest producer of energy on the planet, even the idiot lefties should be able to figure out that  more supply leads to lower prices, but I guess even I gave them too much credit.  

 
I guess if we are going to become a third world country like Venezuela we really should open the border to allow all the putas from South America to come here so I can feel right at home again. Not to mention, I need more cheap labor. lol

 
I find it hilarious that the left blames people like me for enjoying the fruits of THEIR policies. Yes, strong borders are good for the country, but cheap labor is good for me. Yes, higher US oil production is good for the country, but high oil prices are better for me.  The lefties hate "rich people" but it's their policies that hurt the working class not the policies of Donald Trump and/or the Republicans. "America first" helps Americans, Globalism helps people in other countries at the expense of the American worker.

but I didn't know that GG is not a native speaker of English, I know Beefman is not American by birth and I do cut him some slack when he butchers the English Language, but I always thought that GG is a native born American, just stupid and uneducated.

But I do know he is very easy to manipulate and train. Did you train him, as I have, to reply (as irrelevant, nonsensical, stupid and condescending as his replies are) to your posts without ordering him to do so.  It is as you can see very easy to train the weak of mind like him.
