...The old Medicare for all discussion, for Americans over 65 it's already here @ 80% coverage & very reasonably priced supplemental policies are available from the private ins. industry to cover what Medicare doesn't . If Medicare covered everyone on a sliding income scale ( the bean counters would have to figure that out) based on what this country currently spends on healthcare then couldn't we come up with an equatable system where we could use the rules that Medicare already has in place ?     Please put thought before insult.

Your post implies our politicians WANT to fix our healthcare system.  If they truly wanted to, it would take thought, compromise and bipartisanship.  The "big" money is the biggest problem in this equation and how dependent our politicians are on contributions from these same people who fund their election campaigns.

...only that America already has a system in place for healthcare, why not extend it & adjust it to fit everyone ? E-MAIL your representatives in Washington.

...that this subject didn't get more comments from both sides, after all the health care of Americans is hanging in the balance of the most partisan divided set of elected officials that are being led around by the nose & pocketbook by the health industry's lobbyists. E-MAIL your representatives don't let (Trumpcare) go any farther.
