After the Wild West of the unmoderated days on this board, I thought the moderators did a very good job of cleaning up this board and making it a more civil place for debate, but lately, it seems there are posters that are ONLY personal attacks on other posters and contain NO substantive information about the topic of the OP.  If this is going to look like the unmoderated days again, this is not going to be a place that will attract new members.  The personal attacks have a chilling effect on the debate.  It's okay to say someone's idea, opinion or position on an issue is stupid, because that is just notice that you disagree with their position, but more often lately, posters here are calling other posters names and making it personal.  Then we lose the ability to disagree on the issues in a respectful way.  

Whining about people being mean to you is SO Republican. "It's SO unfair."
And you know what also has "a chilling effect on the debate?" When posters like CDL continue to blatantly LIE to the board. Most recently he said of Trump's rape accuser, "Now she is downgrading her claims to battery," when he knew or should have known that because of statute-of-limitation issues that was all she could charge him with. Fortunately, another, more intelligent poster, called him out on it.
There. And I didn't even call you a name.

Could be all types of things. Such as moderation of other forums on this site. Trading stocks today on Fed interest rate hike day, shorting bitcoin, etc.

did she wait 25 years to speak up about this?  Are you always this gullible?   I assume you're referring to a poster who is more intelligent than you.
