...the validity of the statement because it was too specific.  That was really just a dumbass thing to type.  I also didn't miss the fact that there was an ATTEMPT to refute what he said, but you still didn't effectively do it.  Articulating one's position on abortion will in fact lose JM indy votes.  Many people use the debates to decide who they're going to cast their votes for, and talking a firm stance against abortion rights will alienate the indies.

Fuck your feelings if they got hurt.  Go cry on the shoulder of one of your virtual friends.  Looks like one of them just popped up under me.

"MCCAIN: Just again, the example of the eloquence of Senator Obama. He's health for the mother. You know, that's been stretched by the pro-abortion movement in America to mean almost anything.

That's the extreme pro-abortion position, quote, "health."

I can't believe this is the best you can do out of a ninety minute debate.

First off, any voter that puts abortion rights as his her litmus test for POTUS has already made up their mind on who they are voting for.

Secondly, actually there is no "secondly"  I don't need to comment any further on the subject. The statement that you refer to will have absolutely no bearing on the election.

FWIW I am pro choice, but I think there are many much more important issues than whether or not the whole abortion issue gets tossed back to the states.

...is supposed to be a more cumulative synopsis of the debate???  I had no idea that it was out-of-bounds to draw out a specific point and comment on it.  LOL. If you can't refute what he's saying, move the fuck on.  "I don't need to comment any further" amounts to "I just wasted bytes bothering to reply."

He happens to be correct.  Most indy voters are pro-choice, and they do get turned off when a candidate articulates an anti-abortion position the way JM did.  It was a sound argument.  Get the fuck over it.

I did refute what he said.

Since you are obviously a slow child I'll spell it out for you.

Moose made the claim that McCain lost a lot a votes with his statement. I refuted his statement by pointing out that any voter to whom abortion rights was that important an issue to had already made up his/her mind a long time ago.

He is correct that many indy voters are pro choice, he was incorrect in saying that McCain's statement last night will cost him votes. Now you get the fuck over it.

BTW you don't ALWAYS have to be such a fucking asshole. If Moosie takes offense he's a big boy and can respond for himself.

Source is one of many "people" that I know and have met through TER, nothing "virtual" about it.

I am sorry you don't have any friends, maybe that's the reason you feel so sorry for yourself. That and the fact that you are kind of an asshole.

I have to say, I can't imagine wanting to meet some guy off of TER.  You guys fuckin?  Is he a 10 or did he "barely lay there?"

LOL.  Gamb, you amuse the hell out of me.  I think I've learned a lot more about your personal life than I'd care to know, but it sure does paint a funny picture of you.

Sitting at your computer without any friends, arguing with "some random asian dude" who actually has a life. No wonder you're pissed off at life.

I'll go out a limb here and guess that you've never been more than a client with any of the providers you've ever been with either. You probably think that the friendship of a "prostitute" is beneath you as well. Now who's the narrow minded bigot?

I'm stating to get a better picture of you as well, but the picture is not funny it's actually sort of depressing. All the Affirmative Action in the world isn't going to make a winner out of a loser like you.

You know, a party where providers and hobbists get together for a social event.

Oh wait.  You're too anti-social for such an adult event.  Also, there might be Asian or white people there.  LMAO

to have your own stalker?  Seems conroy can't resist posting under your posts.  Maybe you should start a fan club for all the libs here to join, kind of a community organized kind of club......LMAO

...that this board centered around posting under other poster's posts?  Fuck.  I guess I had it all wrong.  Maybe I'll just resign myself to sharing half-witted little anecdotes and observations like you.  Thanks for the constructive criticism.

when Avenging fetus and the other whack jobs started follwing him around. For someone who claim to not care about me or my opinions Conroy spends an awful lot of time following me around.

Maybe he thinks if he bothers me for long enough I will offer to pay reparations for what my evil Asian ancestors did to "his" people. lol

First, McCain again came across as the mean, self-centered, ill-tempered, candiate for the 3rd debate in a row...His temperment is a big liability, whereas Obama never got flustered & agigated in the debates...Like it or not, LOOKING & ACTING presidential is important to voters....

Then there was the part where McCain actually had the nerve to say that Obama is running ALL negative ads...I guess McCain hasn't checked his own campaign, as according to a University of Wisconsin study, he has been 100% negative in the last month or so...

Then on the VP part, McCain expects us to believe that Sarah Palin is more qualified than Joe Biden to be POTUS??.....I cannot imagine too many people buying that..

And yes, his abortion statement will resonate among those who were TRUELY undecided & who might have actually thought McCain was a moderate on the abortion issue.....

It is the fact that he RIDICULES the idea that a woman's health should play any part in considering a late-term abortion.  I saw the look on his face -- he was practically laughing at us.  It's the fact that he shows disrespect for women with that comment -- our HEALTH doesn't matter?  Real nice.

The pro-life people I know accept the fact that a woman's health is very important in the decision to abort a fetus. If you read or follow any of McCain's speeches or writings, you'll find he feels the same way. Your interpretation of his facial expression is a matter of opinion, and to say he disrespects women is a falsehood. Half the people on his staff are women. If he disrepected them, he certainly would not have them on his staff. BTW, I find it interesting what others say about the left wingers and moderates supporting pro-choice in large numbers. Imagine, if you would, how many more members there would be in the Democrat Party if there had not been 45,000,000 aborted fetus's since Roe versus Wade was made into law.

is because everyone knows that health can (and will) be interpreted extremely loosely, especially mental health. When a law reads 'health' it may as well say nothing at all.

So just be honest and pass stuff that doesn't say anything about the mother.
