You really "know" a lot about Kerry. I noticed you didn't say a word about your man Shrub.red_smile

I will find something to post about Kerry, if you find something to share about Shrub's presidential record.  Or did I already do that for you when I replied to CTN?

Your reply sounds EXACTLY like a Dumbya political ad; you have absolutely nothing of any positive substance to say about your side and your record, so you slam the other side.  ("I'm GOPGeezer; and I approved these lies.")

Kerry, as well as many other Democrats, opposed Vegetable Reagan's "trickle down your leg" economic policies, which included an exponential acceleration of the national debt, a recession, double-digit unemployment, and attempted cuts to veteran's benefits (which my family was extremely close to experiencing firsthand).  I would be opposed to a economic policy of that nature myself (and believe me, I was).

In addition, I've already posted about my views regarding Kerry's military record or any candidate's military record in general; it has no real influence on my decision to vote for someone.  Military experience or decorations/citations attributed to military service isn't mandatory in my book, and doesn't necessarily reflect a candidate's ability to lead the country.  You've seen what military-minded leaders in other countries can be like (Hitler, Hussein).  Although they were extremes and their brands of military mentality aren't likely to happen here, a bit too much military might have me on edge.  The last thing I want is a Commander-in-Chief with an itchy trigger finger or has the nuke button within easy reach.

Leadership abilities can be attained in many other areas of life besides just the military.  However, if one side is going to make an issue of the other's military qualifications, I do reserve the right for a rebuttal, even if military qualifications aren't an "issue" for me.

Any outstanding achievements you care to share with the rest of the class?  Who knows, I may even be persuaded to change my vote.

Any outstanding achievements YOU care to share with the rest of the class?  Loss of jobs?  Record budget deficit?  Failed economic policies?  Lying to start a war?  Total loss of respect from around the world?

No need to submit your term paper.  It would get an "F".

Or were you absent that day when remedial reading was being taught?

about Kerry. But maybe you do.

Maybe you should tell us the high points about Kerry's Naval career in Vietnam.  Or how about those glorious protest days when he was calling all U.S. military personel in Vietnam war criminals.

His senate career- he opposed Reagan every step of the way in domestic economic policy that created 20 million new jobs and on foreign policy that smashed the USSR, he opposed the first gulf war and I don't know where he stands on the war on terrorism today.

A little sidebar for you, Kerry predicted that 3,000 people would have to be evacuated from South Vietnam so they wouldn't be executed by the communists.  He was off by about 1 million for South Vietnam and another 3 million for Cambodia.  Yup, about 4 million people were executed in post 1974 Indochina.

Your man Kerry, what a brain.  So you just fill us in with your knowledge of John F. Kerry, KCSHYGUY.

I'm not going to hold my breath for Zinaval.  I went to John Kerry's campain website johnkerry.com where he spends lots of attention to his military service, his family, his plan for America, attacking Bush, and in all the pages that I looked at, at all the stuff that I could see only passing mention of his record in the senate since '85.  Hmmm, why is that?

If anyone is interested, follow the link below to 'The Congressonal Record' it's the official publication that records EVERYTHING that happens w/in the halls of congress.  it's a matter of public record & you need lots of patience to search through it, and it leads to a whole lot of nothing in 20 years of federal service.

If someone else can find more information than me, please let me know.
