It occurs to me that with so many states now passing medical marijuana laws, will we soon be paying for 'patients' to have office visits with 'Doctors' to get their mary jane script refilled? A cottage industry of drive thru Doc's offices has started up in CA these days, wherein you need do little more than step into a quack's office and tell him you have insomnia, or high anxiety, or a host of other minor maladies, and walk out with a script for pot. You pay $50 for the office visit, then go get your script filled.

I have felt for a long time that pot should be de-criminalized altogether, but in the meantime, the medical community has been called in to act as a legal middle man in the distribution of pot. Enter Obamacare, and I am curious how much of this racket will now fall to the taxpayers to pay for. I don't object to pot, but I certainly object to having to pay for some amotivational stoner's next high.

I don't think anyone will ever know exactly what is in that 2,300 page monstrosity. I do know that my Medicare monthly premiums just increased, and some coverage was eliminated. So much for quality, affordable healthcare, and lower prices. Go figure.

but this is not one of them. lol

Yeah, I actually agree with you completely especially your previous post. I do feel a "syndrome" coming on that can only be treated by a really, really hot sexual therapist. lol

at least in both of our cases (I think) the stupid shit we say is on purpose, as opposed to a few that post here, who just aren't capable of saying anything smarter than the drivel they post. lol

More than paying their office visits, but paying for the pot itself.  I'm hoping "The Plan" will expand to include sexual surrogates and then the pot heads will have to pay for my hobbying.  Maybe we can all get VIP memberships courtesy of tax paying LE.

Come to think of it, I'm beginning to like the Obama plan.

The nature of any health insurance is the people with healthy habits pay for the people with unhealthy habits.  Tea toddlers paid for liver transplants.  Nonsmokers pay for chimneys.  The monogamous pay for us.  That's especially true if you cannot opt out and everyone is required to have insurance.  Its going to be like jury duty and standing in line at the DMV combined.  Only probably worse, as I can only manage what the phrase, "Good enough for government work" will translate in health care.

Health care reform mostly requires people to have insurance, other than some expansion of Medicare and Medicaid it cost the tax payers very little and actually reduced the deficit!
