You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. There is no brotherhood when inequality is the order of the day. When inequality persists, revolution follows, the whole premise of democracy is based on getting rid of inequality. Kings, Queens, Emperors, Colonialists of the past didn’t last after while, did they. They were employers, were big men and held all the wealth so, what happened to them. Why do you think human race will behave any different today with that much of power concentrated in their hands?
You cannot build character and courage by taking away men's initiative and independence. You are absolutely correct. Character, courage and initiative belongs to every human beings, Brown, Black, White and Yellow. Not reserved for just the big men you refer to. History has proven this over and over, and the result have been disastrous leading to revolution. Fundamentally against democracy. Again, get to know the local library.
You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves. No human has ever asked for help as long as they are given a fair chance to take care of themselves. The so called big men (your definition not mine) have tendency to take advantage of small men (again your definition) which has lead social unrest which has manifested in many forms. Again the fundamental premise of democracy is to level the playing field.
You may think you are superior to everyone in every aspect but reality speaks otherwise.
