Wars

Does anyone believe that the hidden agenda of these wars is to protect interests for Big Oil and Big Pharma?  I personally do not believe the news media.  I think our occupation in other countries is offensive to them, as it would be offensive to us.  I believe they hate us not because of our freedoms, but because we are funding wars against humanity.  I find it interesting that we are setting up permanent check points in the middle of countries with oil and herion.  Did you know that to most of the world, believes that we are the terrorists?  I wished we could have an honest leader that ends all this bloodshed in 2012. Whether or not Osama has been been dead, enough is enough.  Peace and Love, Madison

"Might makes right!" And, "Follow the money!" Of course the powers that be are the problem, but we, the average American citizen, plays a role, in that we, each individual consumer, uses a much bigger share of the worlds resources, than citizens in other countries; like oil, of course. There's a limit to how much we want our leaders to stop the bloodshed. If we might have to take public transportation vs. our car, maybe not. ;)

P.S. A good book to read on this matter is "Shadow Elite: How the World's New Power Brokers Undermine Democracy, Government, and the Free Market," by Janine R. Wedel

because I too believe there is a shadow global elite that are running things and your presidents and politicians are just puppets on the forefront taking the heat.  I also believe us having a choice is an illusion, that anyone that speaks the truth will eventually be sold out or silenced.  Like George Carlin said, it's a club and we aren't part of it.  To a point its entertaining to see what they will try to hit us with next.  But it really makes me sad when I think 90% of the people killed, in our name, are unarmed and 1/3 are children.  How do we stop this madness if we have no choice?

"Confessions of an Economic Hit Man: the inside story of how America turned from a respected republic into a feared empire," by John Perkins.

It fits with your belief that: "Did you know that to most of the world, believes that we are the terrorists?"

Of course anyone who says they believe, or even just suspect that, is considered "unpatriotic" by many on the right. ;)
