I was listening to NPR and they were discussing how political activism is increasingly squashed. Apparently anti-Bush protesters were being questioned by Secret Service agents, and their friends and family. Amazing. Very scary. Anyone else liisten to that segment today?

I know know it to be true. The only bush I trust is my own.

Imagine if political conservatives were harassed in this way>  If the Republican Guard (Vietnam Veterans for "Truth") got visits from the Secret Service?

I was attending the Iraq Intelligence Forum in Seattle last year ..... Rep Jay Inslee and Amb Joe Wilson were presenting.

As we stood in line to enter the venue, the FBI video taped everyone.

Sometimes it is difficult to see the fascism when you are inside it looking out.

democracy is all about.

It has now come to this under Bush and Ashcroft.  

And yet there are still Bush supporters out there who sincerely believe in political freedom, but are convinced that those who are concerned about this are alarmists, hysterically shouting "the sky is falling" over nothing.  What does it take to wake them up?
