Governor Walker has decided that now it's time to start collecting his bribes, and it looks like it's not going too well. Seems that protests are following him.

Daily Kos has been conducting some polls in Wisconsin on the recall efforts, and it appears that only 2 of the Republicans in the state Senate have their secure seats, while the rest are in serious danger. Already, 50% of the signatures required to start the recall process has already been collected.

A far greater number of signatures are required for the Governor, since it's a state-wide office, but last I've heard 15% of the signatures were already collected.

And this appears that this isn't just a Wisconsin or mid West thing. Yesterday 15,000 protesters were outside Maryland's capitol in Annapolis.

With all this nuclear earthquake business in Japan and Gadhafi killing stuff in the Middle East, I thought what the heck is going on with the pension plans and healthcare for less than 5% of Wisconsin?  We need updates!

but in your case I would insist on someone trustworthy acting as an escrow agent.

It's not that I don't trust, it's just that I don't trust you. lol

So how about it? Do you have enough conviction to put some money behind your words? We can even have a "lefty" hold the money. There are several lefties on this board who I would trust to hold my money, you just aren't one of them.

but here's the wager. I figure that since you make a lot more money than I do, then you would be risking a lot less than I would, regardless of how much we wager. So let's see if we can put an equal amount of risk on the table, shall we?

I'll wager what I earn in about a half day at work agianst what you earn in about a half day at work. The wager is on whether or not Walker is recalled, regardless of whether he wins the follow up election or not. The wager will remain in effect until Walker's first term is up.

Sound good?
