Personally, I would have been happier if this guy got 200 years instead of 20, but it's unlikely he'll ever shoot anyone in the back again.
Maybe they will put this ex cop in gen pop and justice truly will be served? In all fairness, a lot of these cops are exonerated, and rightly so after all the facts come in, but I can't think of a case more cut and dried than this one after watching the tape. This is not a matter of "reasonable doubt" this one was beyond "a shadow of a doubt"
THESE are the kinds of examples the BLM types should stick to, if they REALLY want reform, not the case after case after case that AC360 and Don Lemon trot out there as dead turkeys on a weekly basis.
In fact, I think those two, along with others in the anti-cop lib media, have actually HURT the cause and played a small role in Trump's election win.
...that couldn't convict the POS cop in a state trial? Where are all the righties who complained about the California OJ jury?
And you know damn well that there would have been no guilty plea/conviction had it not been for the videotape. The murderous cop would have gotten away with it as thousands of others have over the years because lying cops are believed over "thugs." More good news - there's no early parole in the federal system so he'll have to serve most of his sentence except for time off for good behavior. Even with accumulated time off for good behavior, he'll have to do over 17 years.
Not if they take my suggestion and put the murdering, lying POS in gen pop. In that case he will most likely only serve a few days at most. Very painful, agonizing days I am sure, but only a few I'd wager. lol
