He is a hater and a micro economic know nothing. In addition, he has stated on many occasions over the last few years that the VA is the shining example of how big government works effectively. ROFLMAO.

But then has this to say at the end:

"Meanwhile, however, what we’re looking at is a party that will be even more extreme, even less interested in participating in normal governance, than it has been since 2008. An ugly political scene is about to get even uglier."

Yeah...a party SO extreme it is on the verge of a an epic and historic win this comig fall. LOL

Calling someone a 'hater' or some sort of 'know nothing' sounds like an argument that a juvenile would offer up!  ;)

So he serves at the behest of his true masters Wall street and K street. Elections........

..................merely change the players. They don’t change the game. And it is the game that is fundamentally flawed. This farce of a political system has to change.

I disagreed with his entire last paragraph. How did you miss that?

But if you want more, fine.

He said Bush wanted to privatize SS. That is a total lie. He wanted to give SOME the CHOICE to invest outside of the social security system if they wanted to do so.

He ALWAYS left the option for people to stay in the older system. Krugman and other like minded libs that don't have the intellectually honesty to state the facts have to resort to distorting Bush's plan to scare grandma and demagogue the issue.

He also states the R party is moving right on social issues as the country moves left. What social issues? Gay marriage? Many R's have moved to the LEFT on that issue. Take a look at R's under 30 y.o. They are in favor of gay marriage.

Abortion? The country is moving to the RIGHT on that issue. A majority of the U.S. public now considers themselves to be "Pro-Life."

Krugman, as usual,  is long on wind Matt, short on facts.

No, they loathe the fact we don't protect our borders. To a leftist like Krugman this equates to racism. It's a device to shut the opposition up. As for reforming SS I am reminded of a woman's comment when it was proposed. She said she didn't understand finance and investing and would just leave her decisions to the government. Oh, how Krugman and the collectivists must have had an orgasm with that attitude. A Democrat's dream

And he hasn't the slightest idea why Brat beat Cantor. He hasn't the slightest idea what it means. The sole purpose of this article, as with all articles in the New York Times, is to denigrate "Movement Conservatism" and keep its readers in the dark as to what is happening outside of the Media's reality bubble.

And libs love to conveniently forget how he was a consultant for Enron. And is teaching a part time college course for $150K a year (one class) while opining/whining about the 1% in the NYT. He's a douchebag.

I think his point that you missed was the GOP is on the verge of a historic electoral win this fall. Hard to fathom of a party that's disintegrating. Where's O'bama's approval rating? About 38%? Remember when Bush's was in the high 30's? I do. We were reminded of it by your media ever thirty seconds.

He predicted the fall of the Euro some 4 years ago. That didn't happen. He predicted Germany's spending reductions would reduce economic growth. The opposite happened. He has predicted US unemoyment would peek at 9% if the Stimulous was passed. Unemployment soared past that. Krugman, in fact, has staked his reputation on all of Obama's failed policies. He has said that if the US were to prepare for an attack by extra terrestrials it would do our economy good. He doesn't believe debt is real. He champions deficit spending in every situation. He is simply removed from reality. But being proven wrong regularly does not reduce his condescension and arrogance.

Now. Do you want to tell us what Krugman has predicted correctly?
