I was going to go see a girl in L.A. but she didn't answer. I went to see somebody here in Van Nuys. Then I called a friend that I was going to L.A. He told me not to. Then I go by a restaurant and on TV there are almost riots in Downtown L.A., Fairfax District and Silver Lake, maybe in other places too. I see the New Millennials being anti-Trump, "revolutionary" activists and all that. But I don't see them burning Silver Lake. But people go crazy, people act crazy. As night falls maybe all the business on Sunset Blvd. will be ablaze. I don't see Hollywood burning either. But who knows. Burning South L.A. is as stupid but more normal.
There has to be some show of force. But because of guilt of the past and present... Now showing strength will only makes these groups feel stronger and capable of destroying and taking over the government. Not that I care.
girlfriend's apartment in Ktown and passed the police activity on the 101 at Silverlake. It was the most police vehicles I have seen in one place outside of police funeral. "Rioters" were on the overpass holding signs so that freeway drivers could see them. A lot of stupid shit because those people can't spell. One big sign was trying to say, "Defend that police," but they wrote it, "Defund that police." What stupid shits. I'd say about two hundred people milling around, but I wouldn't exactly call them "rioters." A lot of teenagers and grandmas. Most were on the South side of the freeway, so the North side was moving at normal speed, which included me.
