Dan Rather, the man who dared to ask Saddam such edgy and deep questions as...

InSync or Back Street Boys?  Coke or Pepsi?  Etc., etc!

Rather has become so rabid in his political bias and hatred for opposing views that now someone has gone to the expense of setting up a website exploiting Dan's arrogance and stupidity  Chronicling Dan's ongoing blatant lying and even more damaging (since most know he is biased and a liar) is his "non-reporting" of news that doesn't back his "Bias"!

Bernard Goldberg nailed him, and Dan continues to prove himself an ass!

Now Rather faced with disgrace has stiffened his neck and proclaims "I am sticking by the authenticity of my report"!  (No doubt some of you will back him!  Kudo's to Zin for at least acknowledging the charade!)

Note to CBS News, time to Dump Dan!  I vote for Bernard Goldberg to replace him.  (FYI, Goldberg is a lifelong democrat, but he has a modicum of personal integrity!)

Up next, Bush and Chenny's past abuses of alcohol...again.  After that Dan Rather has interviewed an old elementary schoolmate of President Bush's who claims Bush used to cheat at marbles and hit him too hard during dodgeball contests.  The big question is, will that work?  :-)

Oh. I see.  When there is a right wing false smear, it is free speech and a service to america (see Bribri's many posts on the Swift boat sell-outs).  But when it is a left wing possibly false smear, we need to get out the FBI and the CIA to get to the bottom of it.

Bribri- you are one funny cat.

You need to understand that Karl Rove, who I believe is responsible for BOTH canards, is a really scummy operator, the kind of scum that Scum wipes off its shoes.  And he is the hand up Bush's ass that covers the Edgar Bergan part of the Act.  Your candidate is the Charlie McCarthy.  Except for the fact that Charlie McCarthy in a Museum display would probably make a better prez than GW.

This is just too good to be true. Finally, in his liberal zeal to smear, Rather grabs the leftist torch only to fry himself. He's now in the same mudbath as disgraced NEW YORK TIMES writer Jason Blair, who not only stretched his stories to fit his preconceived angles, but just went ahead at other times & made up stuff. (Read his book, Burning Down My Master's House).

Even the kerry campaign is distancing itself as far as possible from their own fingerprints on this "document" excrement.

What sad suckers CBS & Rather have become, tragic figures now in journalism. But they also serve the new official poster boys of proof in pandering their idealogy as news, something that is ridiculously common place.

Since I don't watch him, and haven't done so in years, I can't confirm or deny the bias you claim he currently has.  I've just always thought he sucked as a news anchorman.  His style has never suited me.  Remember "Courage"?

He will never be talked about in the same breath as Walter Cronkite.

Your kudos notwithstanding, nothing like venting your hatred (and yes, I'll call it hatred) when a man is down?  Using a particular low point to go after your enemy?

Bribite, how about the perp of this hoax? I don't watch any television, but what journalist would have been alert to this level of skullduggery in our politics?  This marks something new to our system: covert sabotage. What professional would have been alert to this?

It sounds as though it was designed to be a transparent hoax: to be caught.  I mean, somebody took care and time, and a put in a lot of research into writing that prose, which sounds abnormally convincing.  Yet, they didn't bother with the font?  Do you know how easy it is to change the font in Word/Wordperfect? That couldn't have been overlooked.  Not only that, why not dig out a vintage, government issue typewriter?  They are terribly available and cheap.

If you ask me, somebody concocted this to embarrass either CBS or the Kerry/Edwards campaign, if not, just to stir the pot. They did this knowing that agitators will swarm, just as you're doing Bribite, with your knee jerk reaction.

I'll repeat: Bush is the first Latin American president of the United States.  He might soon draw comparisons to other benighted government systems before he's done.

Fuck no!  He had little care for 250 Veterans Free Speech!

None of the 3 networks did.  But he couldn't even do simple homework before he ran with this.

Yeah, I think Dan Rather is a putrid piece of shit, unworthy of a radio talk show in East Elephant Ear, Arkansas.  And yeah, I would piss on him while his is down.  So what is your point, that you often find "love" in listening to Limbaugh?  Or you were sympathic towards his drug abuse problem?

Get over yourself, even if this was done to "embarrass CBS or the Kerry/Edwards campaing" your disdain should be for Rather who couldn't wait to air it!  He is the one who fucked it up, without him, nobody would have heard of it.

And the font is only the tip of the iceberg, at this point very little of it appears authentic.  If it was Rove, it was fucking brilliant!

But as you've said: Oops! It didn't work.  A little whiny about that, are you?

If they couldn't make it convincing with the financing they had, and with a bestselling book, it's because they reek with bullshit. You don't find out more by looking closer, you just throw up.

Deprived of their free speech?  This line belongs in standup comedy. What you want is a right to deceive.

When did Republicans care about the Bill of Rights, other than the Second Amendment?  Or the right to be awed by a Republican president, or to worship the flag five times a day?  Oh, I forgot, you haven't passed those latter two. I'd like to see liberals buy guns just to find out how serious conservatives are about the Second Amendment. But in a perfect world.

As for Rather not doing his homework, the truth is now out about that Bribite. You've been caught in another lie. None of the criticisms of this document hold water.. More about that in a special post I'm starting now.

Of how an experimental "typewriter" under study at MIT found it way into the office of a backwater under funded Texas National Guard office, with an officer that could not type!

The Swifties are enjoying their Third (3rd) week on the New York Times best selling list!  The donations are pouring in and we have 7 more weeks to introduce the American people to the hollow suit that is the democratic nominee.

American Vets have just begun to reveal Kerry for the opportunistic, lying piece of human waste that he is.  And like any cross section of Americans, the majority of the Vets are members of Kerry's party as is John O'Neil.  With the majority of the Swifties being democrats, wouldn't it make sense that they would be proud that a member of their small group was running for President?  Logic makes that argument, but they are all opposed to him?  Why do you think that is?  What about your bias keeps you from listening to them?

Face it Zin, you guys picked a loser, now you have to live with it.  And no convoluted explanations attempting to support Dan Rather's bias and blunder will help you.

The difference between Limbaugh and Rather is that Limbaugh admits his bias, Rather denies his, which is just to stupid to be funny anymore.

I guess the confines of your tiny little world is crushing.  You call others by so many names, but to me, it appears to be a cover for your own inadequacy.  When I think of you, I think of some bird chested, tatooed armed, little man that is desparate to grab glory that was never really his.
Dan Rather is a reporter and like any reporter, he is going to try for a "scoop" even when that means that he steps into a pile of manure when doing so.
If Karl Rove purposely put out false and deceptive information, then he is no better than those you rail against, and certainly is not the genius that you implied.

John O'Neil is a lifelong democrat, the son of a democrat and the grandson of a democrat.

As are the majority of the Swifties!

Now we know that even the CBS producers of 60 Minutes tried to talk Rather out of it, they also thought it was fake!  Who's angry?  Think maybe that Dan Rather stepped into it by not doing his job, by injecting his personal bias into a news story in an attempt to do harm to a sitting President's reputation and swing the election?

I do not call people names, just ask TheMealTicket who checks every post posted here for any "personal attacks" or "hateful speech"!

"I think of some bird chested, tatooed armed, little man that is desparate to grab glory that was never really his."  would never have made it past TheMealTicket!

"World is crushing"?  What the fuck, your candidate is in a well deserved nose dive, possibly the worst shellacking in the history of American politics and you think my  "tiny little world is crushing"?  Your moronic diatribes are becoming (if possible even more) irrelevant in this forum.

BTW, chested isn't a word and tatooed is spelled tattooed, desparate is spelled desperate, putting to rest even the possiblity that you rode a desk in the military.

UPDATE:  As of last Friday, the Swifties have raised over 6.5 million, up 4.2 million from a week earlier (not including the profits from the book), average donation is $126.00 and $91,000.00 of that from your and the losers home state.  By mid October its going to add up to some real money (could be over 50 million and  the war chest will be just about ready for a final assault, national television ads, primetime!
