Clinton: in the Race for the Long Run

Mar 28, 9:32 PM (ET)
By BETH FOUHY

HAMMOND, Ind. (AP) - If Hillary Rodham Clinton is feeling heat from pundits and party elders to quit the race and back Barack Obama, you'd never know it from her crowds, energy level and upbeat demeanor on the campaign trail.

"There are millions of reasons to continue this race: people in Pennsylvania, Indiana and North Carolina, and all of the contests yet to come," Clinton told reporters Friday. "This is a very close race and clearly I believe strongly that everyone should have their voices heard and their votes counted."

... that he has me rooting for Hillary, which I would have thought unthinkable before Obama was discovered to be a follower of the racist reverend, then lying about it, then blaming everyeone, including his grandmaother(!), then calling her "a typical white person", etc.

would any of these modifiers for "white person" have been more acceptable and less offensive if used by Sen Obam?

Stereotypical would be the closest.
The Reverend Wright story destroyed all my positive feelings about Obama and I will be voting for McCain if Obama is nominated. I watched his "courageous" speech on race/Rev. Wright and, unlike Chris Matthews, could only think "What a complete schmuck this creep is" throughout it. "Schmuck" being the diametric opposite of "mensch".

Now people are running around justifying racism saying that it is just sound bites and we all have to listen to the entire sermon to get context.

Don't think so, I got all the context I need. Obama says;

I didn't hear any such sermon

I heard some such sermon

I cannot denounce Wright because he is like an uncle to me

I would have left the church if Wright was not retiring

What is the truth. Wright is a racist teaching racism and Obama is Schmuk lying through both sides his mouth. If he gets nominated, I will everything in my power to get McCain elected.

.. was particularly low - even for modern politics. What a weasel!!! Also, and I am not exactly the most patriotic guy, but, shouldn't a candidate for president of the United States, at least, like his own country? Between his wife and his pastor, Obama willfully surrounded himself with people who despise his own country. He's a schmuck and a weasel!

Libbies love to hate America, so what else is new? It is no surprise that the far left is eating this shit up.

This is just a wild guess, but I don't believe a majority of the country hates America or will be convinced to vote for a candidate that does.

You need something better than that lame shit.

All you are referring to is media propaganda.

& the late Jerry Falwell....McCain even gave the commencement address at Fawell's Liberty University in 2005....In 2000, McCain called Fawell & his ilk "an agent of intolerance"....Falwell's comments after 9/11 were deplorable (gays, ACLU, were to blame for 9/11)...

When John "W" McCain's free pass with the media ends, this stuff will all come out.....

Take a look at the expiration date on the "free pass". It is sometime in 2009. How does that make you feel? "aligned" with? What the hell Moose, he calls Falwell "ilk" in order to align himself with the Rev. get a grip. Your libbieness is way out of whack.

You miss the point...Obama is taking tremendous heat for Rev. Wright, BUT McCain hasn't taken any such heat for the 2 endorsements he's received from the aforementioned Hagee & Parsley, who are equally loony as Wright....Then, there's the Falwell issue....

The hypocrisy is evident harry, plain as day...

sit in their pews for 20 years?

Did McCain ask them to officiate at his wedding?

Did McCain have his children baptized by them?

you can find with a man is what somebody else said.

I didn't see you get real upset when George said that he doesn't recall driving drunk (maybe he was too drunk, DUH) doesn't recall where he was on ANG duty (maybe he was too drunk), or when he said he never stopped thinking of ways to destroy America (mayb e because you're pretty sure he's not too good at thinking!)

You gotta come up with something better here.  Maybe he didn't get any medals -oops, like a Republican!

Oh, I know what it is!  He's a Magic Negro!  Does that work for ya?!

Republicans otta be keeping their fuckin mouths SHUT after these last 8 years, and maybe hoping people will forget, eh?!   We've got a couple wars they've managed to botch, and now they're starting in on the economy!!  Pretty good!!  They'll solve the illegal immigration problem, though - there won't be a Mexican alive that wants to come here.
