Why would Clinesmith plead guilty if, according to Democrats, Bill Barr is just making stuff up?

It looked like Clinesmith was going to plead guilty, but then his lawyers issued public statements that "It was never his intent to mislead the court."  However the law he would be pleading to, "knowingly and willfully — (3) makes or uses any false writing" would be inconsistent with "never his intent."
.
It's unlikely a judge will accept a guilty plea of willful intent in which the defendant also publicly claims no such intent.
.
The lawyers may have scuppered Fridays proceedings by trying to have it both ways. The plea deal may be taken off the table by the Feds.

swallow pee whine from his local morgue.   Does that guy have even one working brain cell?  Poor, poor swallow pee.  We all feel sorry for you.  Must be difficult hanging around on a fuck board when you are completely out of touch with reality.

What will you do when Trump takes your medicare and social security away?  Of course, you have not thought that far ahead.

Democrat operative Clinesmith finally enters a plea admitting intent to alter a document in order to spy on the Trump campaign.

He is just the beginning of many who will be prosecuted for Fisagate.  He altered evidence and that is a felony. Thought he would never get caught.

Flynn was charged with lying in his statement to the FBI. They didn’t put him under oath, they didn’t even tell him he was entitled to have a lawyer present. He was charged with a process crime that was so flimsy the prosecution has moved to drop the case.

They (FBI) didn’t have to. They don’t have to - go study the difference between police and FBI.
(Ask your stupid self, why did he plead guilty in a hurry?)
Now go call Faux news and tell them you are full of their garbage and can’t take it anymore!

if you are asking for anything that makes sense from swallow pee.  He is about as mentally disabled as any Trump supporter on this website.  Have you read any of swallow pee's posts?  Sheer garbage and nonsense.  The guy is either intellectually bankrupt or mentally ill.  Your choice.

Clinesmith didn’t admit to *intent* to altering a document.  He admitted to doing it, ie adding 3 words to an email.  He told the judge (as reported by Fox News):

“At the time I thought the information I was providing was accurate, but I am agreeing the information I inserted was not originally there, and I inserted the information."

So you’re also wrong about spying on the Trump campaign. Clinesmith said he believes his change was accurate at the time he made it.  He admits changing the email was wrong.  That’s all.

Yup.  A HUUUUUGE crime, huh?  Earlier posts did a good job listing all the charges and convictions of Trump’s close associates.  Adding 3 words to an email pales in comparison.

Legal intent means he was aware he was doing it (i.e. not a typographical error etc.)  He gave excuses.

He admitted he changed the email. Period. End of story.

But not nearly as big a deal as lying before Congress, which is what the bipartisan SIC referred Trump Jr., Kushner, and others to the Justice Department for doing.  Yet no action taken yet.  Gotta wonder why.  Oh yeah... Barr.

some study that says that?  Adam Schiff would have had a much easier time trying to impeach Trump if that were the charge, but he didn't even bring it up.  Are you sure you're not just making this up?  There should be a source you can show on something as impeachable as perjury . . . . . but you don't have one, do you?

Chuckie Schumer would have told Adam Shitface about it.  That's why you don't have a link.
