Black voters in Detroit . . . .

warned the Dems today NOT to take their votes for granted in 2020.  They are aware of everything Trump has done for them.

and of course that cuts across all races and colors, people who actually work and pay taxes are much less likely to support multi-trillion dollar government boondoggles than people who mooch off the system.

Someone on welfare LOVES the idea of Medicare for all, someone who pays taxes may love it at first, but once they find out that it's going to cost THEM thousands of dollars a year to pay for it, their enthusiasm wanes in a hurry.

I'm not sure that I follow your reasoning. Following the recession, black unemployment rose to around 16%. 84 of 100 blacks had their old (Carter or Reagan or Bush or Clinton or Bush period) jobs or new jobs so they might feel beholden to those PsOTUS.  Under the Obama recovery, black unemployment came down to around 8.4%. Those last 8 blacks hired (16 down to 8) might want to thank Obama for their jobs. Black unemployment has since decreased to around 6.5% so the last 2 blacks hired (8.5 down to 6.5) might want to thank Trump.
.
Or are you saying that Trump gets credit for all 94% employed blacks?

Many blacks stopped looking for jobs the last few years of Obama's tenure, so the drop in unemployment rates were ARTIFICIALLY.  I spent a week in Chicago this past Spring, and talked to a lot of blacks in person.  They confirmed this.  The NEW jobs that Blacks have were created by Trump through his tax cuts for corporations and executive orders relaxing and/or reversing restrictions that Obama had placed on industry.  Have you even spoken to any Blacks in major cities yourself?

Your's wasn't far behind.

After reading your post I had this mental image of you interviewing a bunch of black people on the streets of Chicago, asking them about how they felt about the Trump economy. ROFLMFAO

Your post reminds me of the one that LTM&L made several years ago claiming that he knew how black people felt and knew how to "talk to them" because he had a black co-worker one time who told him. Nigger PLEASE!!! (and in case you aren't familiar with this term, it's the way a black person will call someone a liar without actually using the word "liar")

We did have a discussion, of sorts, about this point. You provided a link to the gov web site (D of Labor) summary page that defined terms and explained how the surveys are done. I then directed you to the pages with the actual statistical data (and I copied and pasted some of those statistics) which show that your argument is ARTIFICIAL and false. The "unemployed" pool, the "no longer seeking" pool and all the other stats were moving in the same directions at about the same rates under Obama's recovery and into Trump term.
.
Your fantasy that "Many blacks stopped looking for jobs the last few years of Obama's tenure" but have only jumped back into the workforce under Trump is NOT supported by D of Labor statistics.

Don't you remember his poll consisting of two Hispanic cleaning women? roflmao!

Its a personal anecdote.  They still come to my home to clean two days a week.  Is there something you would like me to ask them since it appears from your past posts that you live in an area where you rarely ever get to talk to many minorities?

That's sad enough, but now you're compounding it by getting all huffy over a joke and seeking refuge behind an "anecdote." This is humorous, too, even if unintended.
Also, your clumsy attempt to suggest I don't interact with minorities is lame. Back East we actually do have a lot of Hispanics. Very little actual labor would get done without them. You might make a study of this. There are many Hispanics living and working in both the Southeast and Northeast. Ever hear of "Spanish Harlem?" rofl

your own personal anecdotes about Hispanic cleaning women.  Lol

Hispanics cut my lawn and helped build my new deck, A/C system and painted several rooms in my house. Now here's the difference between us: I don't ask them who they plan to vote for, and then report on it to a fuck board as if it was meaningful.
You are the gift that keeps on giving.

and that you were bitching that all she could do was "suck laundry" lol

CDL's post was "almost" as funny as his post where he was interviewing black people on the streets of Detroit. rofl.

As for CDL himself, you LOVE having him around, it reminds you of the good old days when you and SD could argue the same dumb shit for literally months on end.

But not as much as I ROVE having WU around. Your constant torturing of the facts, not to mention the Engrish ranguage, offers me unmatched mirth, and even MORE swings of my stick at my favorite piñata. That would be YOU, Chinkster! ROR!
PS: My cleaning lady isn't "half Chinese and half French." That's not my cleaning lady, that's the lady who cleans my pipes, you dolt.

Its not uncommon for Dems to live in ignorance about what is going on in the world and to make assumptions without any real first hand knowledge from their own experiences.

You have forgotten what I wrote.  I did not, nor do I, ask anyone about their politics.  That doesn't win you any friends in California.  These ladies have worked for me for several years and felt comfortable bringing it up themselves.  The point, in case you missed it, was that they were worried about me hiring illegals who were willing to work at a lower wage who would take their jobs.  This is not an uncommon concern for HIspanics who are here legally.  Most Dems don't give a shit and just want more illegals to come here, even if it harms the ones who are here legally and don't break our laws.

I recall that post quite well. But your need to explain yourself is simply reminding us all of what a fool you made of yourself. Most people would have the good sense not to bring it up again. But not cdl! Jesus, man, have you noticed even your Boss, Wu, has been making fun of you lately? The only thing that explains your continuing this is PTSD.
Please seek help.

what you had for breakfast, are you trying to tell us you now remember a post from a few weeks ago?  You can't even keep things straight down a thread that started the same morning.  No one is going to believe your memory is selectively better at ONE post over everything else that you seem to forget, like when you said I have never admitted I was wrong.  I posted ONE link (there are dozens more), and then you still didn't admit you were wrong, and just changed the subject in typical Jake fashion.

If you had drank a tenth as much vodka over your lifetime as Bob, you wouldn't be able to remember what you had for breakfast either. You'd be lucky to remember that they fed it to you through a tube like Bob. rofl

Poor Bob, he can't remember anything posted he posted five minutes ago, but he thinks we will believe that he can remember everything about a post you made weeks ago. A mind really is a terrible thing to waste.... lmao

It's VERY easy for me to remember what I had for breakfast. NOTHING. I don't eat breakfast.
As for the rest of your post, it's an incoherent babble. Wow!
I'd say you are losing it, cdl, except you never had it.
You need to take a break. Then maybe you'll stop doing this.

You know damn well I said nothing of the kind. I clearly said that "the lower black unemployment goes, the better for Trump"

Since you can't possibly disagree with my point that the more people working, the better it is for the incumbent you instead "tried" and tried weakly to distort my post into something I never said. WEAK WEAK WEAK.

The old GaGambler would have told you to GO FUCK YOURSELF, the newer kinder and gentler GaGambler is above that kind of thing, no matter how richly deserved.

And I do not follow the reasoning or accept that statement. MANY analysts repeatedly point out that Trump inherited the trends established under the Obama recovery. Trump could have done 3 things: (1) made things worse (slowing the recovery or changing its direction, even increasing unemployment) (2) made things better (FASTER rates of recovery, even less unemployment) (3) or let things run their course at the about the same rates. For 2+ years, we have been in (3).  Trump has boasted that he's responsible for the economy taking off like a "rocket ship."  Not quite. It's the same trajectory established under Obama.

I didn't DISTORT your post. I asked for an explanation of the reasoning and gave some stats that may or may not be relevant to YOUR reasoning.
.
But I continue to disagree with "the more people working, the better it is for the incumbent" as a generalization in the case of Trump. ... On at least three counts. (1) Not all of those working give credit to the incumbent. Some give credit to his predecessor. (2) Some might even focus on their personal situation ("Tariffs shut down my company and I lost my good job and now I'm working at a shitty job because of POTUS."). Perhaps the Last-In employees, the last 2-3% have reason to favor the incumbent, but why ALL?   (3) Not everyone looks at the jobs statistic, even their personal job, in a vacuum. "I used to have a good job cleaning up and protecting the environment.  New policies shut that company down but now I have a new job polluting the environment."

CDL might bite, but I am NOT going to be baited into having a conversation THIS FUCKING STUPID.

This is WEAK, even by your low standards.

FAILS to reply to the substance of the post because he can't, then yells STUPID and flees.
That is WEAK, even by Wu's low standards.

Obama, incumbent in 2012. Unemployment at 8%. Re-elected.

In your case, however, a missing link seems appropriate.

when its not something easily found, like a lot of Laffy's obscure shit.  This was all over the news yesterday, so there are over a dozen hits if you google "Detroit Blacks to Democrats."   I like the Breitbart piece, but you probably won't.  Lol
