Nord Stream 2 is the principle supplier of gasoline to Germany which is an important ally against Russia.  Biden did it to repair some of the goodwill that dumbfuck traitor Donnie destroyed.  This was actually not necessarily in Russias best interest.  

But big picture thought  is not your thing.

Nord Stream 2 is a NATURAL GAS pipeline and has nothing to do with gasoline. What it does is give Putin leverage over Germany, just like they had over the Ukraine. I don't suppose you remember the Russians cutting off the gas to Europe several years back as well.  

 
This is HUGELY in Russia's interest, it gives them much needed cash AND it gives them the opportunity to put their foot on Europe's neck someday if they ever get out of line.

Auto corrected it seems.  I knew it was natural gas and after your post saw that it said gasoline.   My point remains.  Having Germany pay less for Russian gas than imported is a good thing for our strongest ally.  It’s a two way street.  Russia isn’t going to choke off its cash flow and the last time they did didn’t work out very well for them.

Buying OUR LNG at a fraction of the price would be the best thing for our supposed strongest ally.

 
Buying Russian natural gas only serves to enrich Putin and put Germany at the mercy of the Russians.  

 
Do you really believe that Russian natural gas is not "imported" from the German perspective? And if they are going to import natural gas why would they want to import it from our shared adversary when we have enough natural gas to last them and us for centuries?

Your point that  "Germany is our strongest ally?"  That's more more misinformation to add to your prior post.  Our top three allies, IN ORDER, are UK, Canada and Israel.  After that its Japan and South Korea.  However, Germany DOES make the top ten.   So even though you called out my OP, YOU are the one who got it wrong.  Your convoluted reasoning that making Russia rich off of Germany by having Biden compromise US security  interests  in Europe is hardly a win for the US.  I think my statement that Biden is sucking on Putin's johnson is pretty accurate.  And BTW, I too, welcome you back.
