I've been a political junkie as long as I can remember, so enjoy informed opinions from both sides of the political spectrum. What I can't stand are the morons from both sides of the aisle who don't know what the hell they're talking about & seem to be spouting opinions from their ass. These dumb enraged trolls seem to be running on "anger fumes" & nothing else. I have no patience for rabid partisan hacks at all.

Because what you describe is the norm here, not the exception. and yes, it comes from both sides of the aisle, although I will put up the two biggest trolls on "your" side of the aisle against anything the right has to offer, but I will concede after the "top two" it's pretty even on both sides right now. Election years seem to bring out the real geniuses around here.

There are some others, but man, it has REALLY thinned out here since I've been gone for the last 3&1/2 years. The "ignore user" feature makes things quite a bit easier to use the board, & will cop to some trolls on my side, but unfortunately, there are 3 on the far right using aliases &  because of that, can't be ignored. it's unfortunate, because they seemed to be fueled by  ignorance & hate, a really nauseating aspect of the political dialogue here.

I do remember having to block liorr once as he kept blowing up my inbox with his stupidity, but do you REALLY need an ignore function when you can simply skip over the posters that are TSTTT?

With one person in particular. God, I figured it out in a minute; & he DIDN'T change his tune. His last "official post", under another name, was 4 years ago,

back then I still had the ability to "see behind the curtain" and it was NOT him.

As for the poster in question, no, he's a dumb rightwing troll as are a couple on the left here. It cuts both ways & one of the few things that we agree on.

liorr was from NYC, a complete whore monger, and never came across as a thumper. Nor do I remember him ever coming across as military or ex military. The only thing the two have in common is right wing values and a poor command of the English language. Not to mention liorr posted at about the same pace as laffy, whereas Gunny has a mere 745 posts in almost two years of being here.

You have inside track info. OTOH, gatorjimmy has a point, they sound remarkably similar , both in desperate need for an Eng 101 class.

Gunny is not going to get published anytime in this lifetime, but compared to liorr.......
