and showed how powerful they now are.  They will say, correctly, to the Republican party: "You can't win without us".

Republicans on this board and elsewhere who are not part of the religious right will have a fight on your hands for the heart and soul of your party.

It's a two party system...the God Squad has nowhere else to go than the R's.  They are shackled together.  The R's will throw them many bones, but they can take care of their other agenda as well.  What, the God Squad are going to en masse go to another party?  Yeah, right.

They can go back to not voting.  It was because the Republican Party spoke to their concerns that they finally came out to vote in a big way, and their large turnout was what pushed Bush over the top.

You are assuming, as someone who is very interested and engaged in politics, that someone who votes will always continue to vote.  But there are a whole lot of people on the religious right who cannot be counted on to turn out to vote unless they are energized by Republican politicians who speak to their concerns.

but I understand that you far Lefties need to demonize your political opponents.

Anyway, I personally prefer the "Religious Right" to the "Pagan Left."

Now that they know their power, they are not going to go away.  Remember the whole thing with the Kansas textbooks teaching creationism?  Or the evolution chapters being removed in Tennessee?

Welcome to Pleasantville.

dude- you are being clueless- not like you.  Those inmates have been running that asylum ever since Bush I let them in to the halls of power for their support in the primaries.  They have been calling the shots ever since.

...  Send your reviews to some of your evangelical friends where you fuck a few young women of different races up the ass.  I didn't read all your reviews:  have you done any trannies?   Do you think the anti-sodomy pro-marriage people are going to feel that you are one with them in their party?  You might prefer the religious right:  however I think you have a better home with the people you call the "loony left".

Welcome James -- you're home now -- even if you don't want to admit it.

Harry, don't ya know, James86 is  bilingual (senore Chavez if memory serves) - NOT bisexual.  There's a difference !!!!

I may be wrong though -  I did vote for Kerry (cause I feel James deserves all the benefits we take for granted - and even though I find him offensive, he does not offend my marriage per se).

Actually, they would be overestimating their own worth.

If in this election 1.76 million people were givena  better alternative then Kerry and his lawyer buddy, they'd be wearing out their rosaries right about now...

to the "ignorant" public, by slobs like Michael Moore and subversives like Al Franken who are always given the bully pulpit to spew whatever thoughts they can come up with or repeat from others.  If the left keeps it up and repeats in 2008, they are in for tough times.

With all that went wrong for President Bush AND the bad decisions he made, you'd think that he would have been a no-brainer to knock out, BUT, the left throws up another liberal from the Northeast.  This isn't rocket science.

Hey, I'm a sinner, so sue me.  But I fail to understand why you feel the need to mention "young women of different races"... unless you stereotype conservatives as racists.  That is, of course, a cheap slur which has no basis in reality.

And no, I've never "done any trannies."  I'm not a fag, after all.

As for "the anti-sodomy pro-marriage people," let's just say that there are plenty of people who espouse the notion of the law as teacher, as ideal, who fall short.  Lefties who constantly speed?  Prosecutors who frequently violate the game (limit) laws?

And BTW, I really don't place much value in what you think.
