Wow, they've really adjusted the definition

"they've really adjusted the definition." The article says he's being accused of "attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction. The felony charge carries a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $250,000 fine."

Is that not what he tried to do. Perhaps you believe the penalty should be more, and I have no qualms about that.

And, no lawyer is going to get him off, especially if he hit their radar because he was communicating with another terrorist, or suspected terrorist.

See what this loser was charged with?

An his punishment is maybe life in prison? He'll get off. He'll just get a lawyer screaming 'profiling'.

And they wonder why Rome fell...

He was quite clear what he meant about WMD's, nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. He knew few would back his desire in invade Iraq if all they had were conventional weapons, let alone home-made bombs. And, he had plenty of people telling him he wouldn't find them.

Another point. Our definitions applying to civil and criminal laws in our own country need not conform to what is a military definition.

If the definition of a weapon of mass destruction is now what this a**hole tried to use, then the Left owes Bush an apology.
