The Republicans are against the mass mail in voting. Not absentee, service members over seas, etc. It is the blanketed MAIL IN VOTING. That happened in 2020 and some of it in 2024 (some states made changes). Now there has been STATE changes to much of the mail in policies and procedures that make it a little "safer". But that is state to state differences. But yeah... peddle the lies and mis info/half-truths. Trump has used the absentee ballot forms. Not the blanketed "mail in" stuff he is talking about. You do know there is a HUGE difference. One you actually have a specific process to follow thru, have to actually PROVE WHO YOU ARE and why you will be absent, etc. The other is a blank ballot given to you. Kind of a difference isn't it. Vote By Mail is simply PERMANENT absentee voting. In BOTH cases a blank ballot is mailed to the voter. The only difference is that in Vote By Mail you don't have to request an absentee ballot for each election. It's automatically mailed to you.
for those that are disabled, hospitalized, or out of the district on business or vacation, but should have to be renewed annually with a new signature exemplar. Any reasonable person should not be opposed to these limitations. If you Vote By Mail, you have to SIGN the envelope in which you put the ballot. WRONG.... in some states you can ask for a "mail in ballot" and it is shipped to you or your address. There is no way to know who actually filled it out. That is the issue and was the main issue in 2016. Why were there ballots sent blindly to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, business addresses, etc. All of it has been documented. The issue is that nobody knows who filled them out. Could have been legit... or not. PLUS the fact that some of those ballots got mailed in and those people still showed up at voting locations to vote on the day of the election. THIS HAS BEEN PROVEN TO HAVE HAPPENED. Now as it on a large scale.... no. But there is instances of it happening. Which should piss anyone off and show that you need the SAVES ACT.
But yeah.... facts matter which you are ignoring. Absentee ballots in some states need to be notarized, vouched/witnessed that you voted, mailed and witnessed by post office worker, etc. Every State is different.

Did they? . Were the signed (or mis-signed or unsigned) envelopes containing the ballots returned UNOPENED (rejected without even looking at the anonymous ballot itself)? . Do you have DATA on the total number of rejected ballots, reasons for rejection, demographics of rejection, etc.? If you claim to have the data, INCLUDE A LINK TO YOUR SOURCE. . In many states, there is a ballot INSIDE an envelope with sig and other info which is INSIDE a mailing envelope, addressed to voting location. People authenticating sigs or other info DO NOT SEE THE BALLOTS and do not know who was chosen on the ballot. In some states, if the outer envelope cannot be validated, it isn't even opened.

1. Yeah sherriff offices do have the authority to "Seize" ballots. - Even though this looks "fishy" since it is himself on the ballot 2. Deputies will be counting them while be over watched. 3. There has been enough screw ups and instances of "cheating", "wrong counts", etc. That this is happening. Now to inicky..... You do know that over 60% of "mail in" ballots (not absentee) go towards Dem's in the last election cycle.
