Btw I wasn’t born till 67 so I could t have “dodged the draft” and by the time I came of military service age I just enlisted. I got my selective service notice while I was in recruit training at MCRD San Diego. You know that place where they train Marines. Oh wait I guess you wouldn’t know that.
