I am hoping you are going to say you PUI like never before because you didn't even bother to read your own link, for if you had you would have read this:
"As we have said in the past, be cautious about using the scorecards to draw broad conclusions. We use our news judgment to pick the facts we’re going to check, so we certainly don’t fact-check everything."
TRANSLATION:
"We really have no fucking clue how one network stacks up against each other and we are too busy to check into these small, unimportant things, like "facts." LOL
I do think you are a dip shit, but I can also appreciate the effort you are giving for this late run at SPOTY. I was certain it was locked up, but with your grit and determination, an upset is still a possibility. GO JAKE GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But you were never "found." Your laughable attempts to look even-handed are -- and always have been -- transparent to all. ANYONE who imagines Faux News is anything but a dishonest, partisan dog whistle is a political hack. The fact that CNN is also partisan, while true, does not remotely put it on the same level as that journalistic desert, Faux News. Sober or drunk (and I am the former right now) I am easily able to tell the difference. You? Not so much.
Who knows...maybe you are sober?
The problem is your brain. Always remember, my brain drunque works better than a Duncey brain sober.
I remember watching the start of the Gulf War and being awed at the sight of CNN's team embedded in the action and getting live shots of missiles fired from Iraq into Israel. They were covering the news then, and doing so brilliantly.
But today, all too often, CNN is MAKING the news and IS the news, while echoing the talking points of the Democratic party.
They made a business decision to go hard left and that is fine. It is there business how they choose to cover the news and top stories but they really need to drop the chicanery of pretending to be impartial. Those days are long gone.
Oh, I'm sorry. It's not righty Rush, it's Lefty Glenn Greenwald! It is a great read, for anyone who gives a damn that at least part of our press (in this case CNN, MSNBC and CBS) is completely corrupt.
Here is a point I have made in the past, re: media "mistakes" made by the press should go both against Trump at times and in his favor at times, but of course Greenwald makes the case better than I ever could:
"All media outlets, of course, will make mistakes. The Intercept certainly has made our share, as have all outlets. And it’s particularly natural, inevitable, for mistakes to be made on a highly complicated, opaque story like the question of the relationship between Trump and the Russians, and questions relating to how WikiLeaks obtained DNC and Podesta emails. That is all to be expected.
But what one should expect with journalistic “mistakes” is that they sometimes go in one direction, and other times go in the other direction. That’s exactly what has not happened here. Virtually every false story published goes only in one direction: to be as inflammatory and damaging as possible on the Trump/Russia story and about Russia particularly. At some point, once “mistakes” all start going in the same direction, toward advancing the same agenda, they cease looking like mistakes.
No matter your views on those political controversies, no matter how much you hate Trump or regard Russia as a grave villain and threat to our cherished democracy and freedoms, it has to be acknowledged that when the U.S. media is spewing constant false news about all of this, that, too, is a grave threat to our democracy and cherished freedom.
So numerous are the false stories about Russia and Trump over the last year that I literally cannot list them all."
Ugh...
