Naturally, Trump fucked it up. He called Milwaukee "a horrible city." Hmmm, did Trump make that cavalier remark because Milwaukee has a large Black population and a Black mayor? Miwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson replied: "If Donald Trump wants to talk about things that he thinks are horrible, all of us lived through his presidency, so right back at you, buddy!"
Hillary only beat Trump by 1.6% in 2016 in Minnesota. And other parties scarfed up 7%. And remember Hillary was crushing Trump in national polls. The last time Minnesota went for the Republican prez was Nixon in '72. This would be an upset for sure.
But Trump has a higher approval rating than Biden, leads with Independents, and is pulling 20% of the POC voters. Biden has a 3.9% lead in the poll (within the margin of error), but his numbers with Independents and POC (he really needs to hold Trump to just 15%) show that he vulnerable in Minnesota.
