Stewart argued age-related issues shouldn't be ignored: "The stakes of this election don't make Donald Trump's opponent less subject to scrutiny. It actually makes him more." Jon Stewart returned to host The Daily Show on Monday, and within three minutes was already going after Donald Trump — but also Joe Biden, taking a critical look at the president’s apparent age-related issues.
But then, Stewart showed footage of Biden’s disastrous Friday press conference attempt to assure Americans that he was still up to the task of the world’s most important job. “So Joe Biden had a big press conference to dispel the notion that he may have lost a step and, politically speaking, may have lost three to four steps…” and later noted, “[But] Trump regularly says things at rallies that would warrant a wellness check.”
And the liberals are big mad. Some even physically ill: Stewart treating the age of both men running and their lack of youthful vigor as the main lens through which to judge them -- and not what they've done, are doing, and will most probably do, was a gut punch that has left me sad and sick to my stomach.
Suddenly the liberal hero becomes a traitor!
Man, what a disappointment. Jon Stewart just let a lot of people down, people that thought he cared about our country
