No one needs combat rifles for target practice or hunting. And we should arm deer and ducks, or any other animal hunted including the ones Jack Hannah says are nearly extinct,  and send them to gun school so they have an equal chance. Think of what a better world this would be if the moose Palin attacks can fire at her chopper.

Better still we should take the NRA resources that want to arm schools and assign an armed guard to every hunted animal who is programmed to fire back at the hunter.

Obama should immediately appoint someone to run the ATF--it's fucking insane no one has been doing that for 6 years.

Data bases should be updated and modernized and companies like MSFT and Oracle should be asked
and universities like MIT and Stanford should be asked to volunteer to help do this, and after a period of 6 months anyone who has not come in and registered who got their gun without registering should be imprisoned for life.  Note my compassionate conservatism of avoiding the death penalty for these violators.

Wayne LaPierre and the other whackjob from NRA who is their President, David Keene should be stuffed and mounted and pieces of them sold to fund the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission.

Someone always seems to "cook up" a conspiracy theory to all the national tragedies.  BtW....how have you been?

If the parents of all the child victims of Sandy Hook would allow their bullet riddled bodies......

.......to be shown on TV, print and internet media. Images showing 6-7 yr olds with their arms, legs, brains, jaws blown off, we would have a ban on assault rifles on the Presidents desk for signing by the end of the week.
