I watched the whole sad/comical/hysterical charade on CNN yesterday and then saw the tally of the votes against him. It was like watching some sort of movie or something like an entertaining drama really, to see him plead his case and then get black balled with so many votes against him.

At least I got caught screwing a hooker and not the people of my state like you tried to do.

But as much as I hate to admit it, I wish I had your hair!

performance this week was Larry King's "interview" with Blago.

Larry apparently does absolutely no preparation for his interviews anymore and acted astonished when Blago told him "they wouldn't let me call any witnesses to prove my innocence."

Of course, the "they won't let me call any witnesses" lament was the prime theme of Blago's Friday press conference and was repeated on all the media interviews prior to King's show. For King to be unaware of this - and also be unaware that it was not true as  there was a procedure under which Blago could call some witnesses but he did not use it - was an incredible indictment of King and his producer. So instead of confronting Blago with a "that's not true" comment, King responded in an astonished voice "they wouldn't let you call witnesses!!?"

Blago was an unfriendly Democrat. He was therefore treated like a normal Democrat. Nothing a normal Democrat says is to be challenged.
