You cannot lift the wage-earner by pulling down the wage-payer. Left unto their ways, they will give you enough to eat so you will not die and keep working for them which is exactly what the slave owners did, and other plutocrats of the past did and the plutocrats of today are doing. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income. The whole modern financial system is set up to do exactly that. You are not telling me you only spend what you make and never use credit for anything. If you say yes, you are an idiot to do so and full of shit.

You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. There is no brotherhood when inequality is the order of the day. When inequality persists, revolution follows, the whole premise of democracy is based on getting rid of inequality. Kings, Queens, Emperors, Colonialists of the past didn’t last after while, did they. They were employers, were big men and held all the wealth so, what happened to them. Why do you think human race will behave any different today with that much of power concentrated in their hands?

You cannot build character and courage by taking away men's initiative and independence. You are absolutely correct. Character, courage and initiative belongs to every human beings, Brown, Black, White and Yellow. Not reserved for just the big men you refer to.  History has proven this over and over, and the result have been disastrous leading to revolution. Fundamentally against democracy. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves. No human has ever asked for help as long as they are given a fair chance to take care of themselves. The so called big men (your definition not mine) have tendency to take advantage of small men (again your definition) which has lead social unrest which has manifested in many forms. Again the fundamental premise of democracy is to level the playing field.
