after days of on again off again rebel support, the BIG "O" caves in and follows the lead of the French and the Brits....way to go big guy...we are the "envy" of the world who want to grow up to be like us (or You).....oh by the way, why did the leaders of many egyptian dissidents vote to not meet with her highness, the wife of the William, the giver of many REALLy BIG "O's", her highness Hillary???
The difference is, we led the attack upon Libya and had very little support from the Arabs, our allies, and others in the in the region and it cost us greatly in lives and in treasure. Today,we have Libya. Most members of the UN Security Council, particularly those who have Gaddafi and Libya in their backyard, and the Arab League support the no fly zone and possible attacks on Libya. Even, France and Britain may take the lead, if an attack is mounted, which is much better for our budget, than if we lead it, right?
good for our budget? agree. i'm not suggesting WE do all the dirty work. i'm suggesting we LEAD the effort to get it done. Our guy doesn't lead anything, he is a follower, even at that angle he is way in the back. It's a matter of perspective from my view. he doesn't take charge of the budget discussions....he doesn't even have a budget..!!! no budget for the entire year, just 4 or 6 week extensions..a leader would have worked behind the scenes to line up support, etc. he didn't and doesn't. even the queen bee hillary is perturbed....can we make it untill 2012??? hope so.
