So in addition to over 150 newspapers endorsing Kerry, add to the list a conservative publication.....Just further proof that the GWB presidency has been a miserable failure.....The last sentence in the article sums IT ALL UP:

"This election is all about George W. Bush, and those issues are enough to render him unworthy of any conservative support".

Well, conervatims meant financial discipline and being patriotic in defense of our country.

Reckless tax cuts, record level budget deficit, and fighting a war that has NOTHING to do with the best interest of our country, is a little departure from these values.

People are catching up!

Only one editor (Scott McConnell) offered up this endorsement. The magazine did NOT. The Publisher and Editor in Chief endorses Bush.

Sadly, they see this election like I do, something akin to a "Fear Factor" challenge of picking the right turd to eat off the plate. BUt unlike them, I can't pull the lever for Kerry.

Look, it may not be easy at first, but take deep breath & PULL that Kerry lever....If you feel like voting for couple republicans in other races, so be it.....But I think you'll feel good about yourself if you pull the Kerry lever....It will be a good character builder....You sound disappointed w/Bush, & I can see you might not want to vote for the liberal, but think about the courage, strength, & honor you gain by doing something you might not normally want to do!....And, to use The Godfather as an analogy: you know it's the right thing to do (vote for Kerry) but unlike Sonny in the Godfather who wanted to take Sollozzo's deal,(where Don Corleone DIDN'T want to), you don't have to answer to anybody!, whereas Sonny was yelled at BIG TIME by the Don for talking about the family business....Your task is far easier!

And after you vote, you can schedule an appointment w/a wonderful provider, sort of like a nice reward for doing the right thing.....

LOL!

That's it, use a movie scene to justify doing something you normally wouldn't and know you shouldn't do. How typical. How predictable. You have one thing right, I wouldn't have to answer to anyone. However, I would have to look at myself in the mirror the next morning and live with myself for the next four years. That's the part you left out of your positive reinforcement scenario. No thanks, I'll reward myself in the appropriate manner for sticking to my core values and voting accordingly rather than taking the advice or endorsement of a newspaper, movie or publication whose goal is to herd the ignorant and un/misinformed sheep.

I'm sure the endorsement of AC with it's dozens of readers will have a major impact. The AC's reasoning is asinine. Bush doesn't represent classic conservative values so they endorse Kerry and oppose him if elected? That makes sense. If they agreed with Kerrys policies (whatever they may be), that's another issue. AC's endorsement is simply another case of a Bush hater willing to cut off his/her nose to spite his face. Bush hating isn't exclusive to the libs. This country isn't going to elect now or in the foreseeable future a President far enough to the right to suit the AC people.
