I was going to agree with you and then I did what you FAILED to do: I actually checked. And, in fact, the percentage of DC voters who are registered Dems is 75.6%. And even this lower amount probably proves your point. Too bad you were too lazy to check and put up a bullshit number instead. You really do make this too easy.

For the record, I don't think CDL's statement was meant to be literal, I don't think there is a single place in the country with anywhere near the population of DC that is 90% either red or blue. Yes, there are enclaves where the partisanship runs that deep, but I am willing to bet that the 75% you quote is about as high a percentage either Dem or Rep where it comes to voters "registered" as belonging to either party as you are going to find in ANY metroplex in this country.
I am too lazy to look up the numbers, but if we are talking about how people actually voted in DC, I bet you the CDL's number is pretty damn close, no that is NOT what he said, but on scale his misstatement doesn't even come close to the whoppers our little mooch tells on a daily basis.
Ok, I did check and in 2016 Clinton got 90.9% of the vote in DC. I'll give CDL's post a grade of "slightly misleading"

The current times and circumstances make it really hard to know when someone is joking or when a number (figure; value) is tossed out as an approximation and not as a verifiable value to dictate a major policy position. . Interpretation is almost always along party lines: "Colorado border wall" - to pro-Trumpers, it was an intentional joke; to anti-Trumpers, it was a sign of Trumpian stupidity or his mental decline. "Schiff parody" - to pro-Trumpers, it was an act of treason; to anti-Trumpers, it was an obvious parody. . Regarding CDL's claim about DC demographics (90% Dem), the real question should be about those in attendance at the stadium doing the shouting. I'll bet that MOST DC Dems cannot afford season tickets or World Series tickets. Those tickets go to corporate sponsors, season ticket holders, players' allocations, etc.. What was the party makeup of those in the stands shouting "Lock him up!"?
