I'm not much into movies anymore.
When I used to live in the house. We watch movie on VHS a lot.
Then when I had a place and a TV, I followed movies on cable or DVD.
I was never into going to the Movies.
My homeless friend on the other hand, has been sneaking in for many years now.
He has seen every movie more than once. I've done it with him a couple of times.
But this is a movie I want to sneak in to see. It's the new Jesus movie, Son of God.
According to writings about it. They're trying to tone the story down from Gibson's anti-Semitic,
violent, gruesome movie. I saw that movie and I didn't care. I didn't notice his racism or anything.
It was not until he was caught drunk and acting like a fool.
My friend just saw a movie about Hercules. He was telling me how he was a god also. He didn't know that. I didn't watch that one. Even though he has asked me if I want to go in.
I think that when it comes to movies it doesn't matter your religion or no religion. It's just a movie.
Unless it's a movie about Islam and they get offended and they threat to blow up the theater.
I remember this crazy lady who lend me a video of a movie called Left Behind. It was about Christians leaving, disappearing after the rapture. The only ones left behind were people like us. That was a stupid movie made by Christians for Christians. But it was funny though.
Anyway, I'll go see the Son of God. maybe this time I won't see people sobbing in the theater. Stupid Gibson making people cry. Maybe this time they'll be smiling or even laughing.
