The wisconsin crowd need a wake-up call!  i aon't working and paying for their 8 hour workday that starts 2 hours after they report and ends 2 hours after they leave!  working 4 hours and geting paid for eight is the supreme ripoff.

i am self emplyed with a 1400.00 a month health plan

If we exported our worse "workers" and polluted other countries with our unionized and government employees, that would be very nice indeed.

Apparently, 40,000 people have a very big problem with this.

Nuguy, it also appears that you're enjoying your Saturday posting messages on a website. I'm guessing you're enjoying your weekend. Remember to thank a union for that.

and public education is gone and welfare is gone then and only then will the masses see the light.

This is a divide and conquer tactic used by the powers that be to take our eyes
off the real fleecing of America that has been going on since the Federal reserve
bank was established.

We payed 600 billion for the wall street  bankster bailout, and they're raking in record profits,
and passing out record bonus checks to themselves.

3.2 billion to bail out Wisconsin is peanuts in light of that.

But yes, the state employs lots of bums and that too is a fact.

Regarding TARP, let's try and get the facts right.  First of all, barely more than half the authorized funds were ever distributed.  Plus, a very large amount already has been paid back and much more of it will be.  The last estimate I read was the total cost will be around $20 billion.  Not chump change to be sure, but a hell of a lot less than $700 billion.  Also, the Fed has made tens of billions from its own  bailout efforts.

...If you don't believe them, why did you post them?  If you have other numbers that contradict them, why don't you post them.  And, by the way, what you're also ignoring is that TARP was conceived and enacted under Bush.  Obama and McCain both supported it.  So I guess you have to believe they're all liars...

wants to and has spent every dollar in existence for every welfare typr program anyone can think of. Spending us into a thrid rate country. gotta start somewhere and wisconsin is doing it.  by the way, your president can't figure out the country's problems, so why is he giving his opinion on waht a State is to do.  fix the couontires problems mr O before you start fixing a State's fiscal woes.

I'm so friggin tired of hearing about POOR government workers, POOR teachers!!!

Where the hell is the consern for the kids while they walk away from their classrooms!!!

You know why they need uinions? Becuase they have weak skill sets and could not make it in REAL WORLD!!!

Someone finnaly figured out the main reason we run all these defecits is because we overpay underqualifed people!!!!

One great thing, in the end, it is a self correcting system. This is the correction kicking in :-)

perhaps if you had better education early on, you would have turned out better; don't deny others what you lack----:)

I type fast and trust me, I have better things to do than spend a crap load of time proof reading my stuff...

I have a real life outside of this board, perhaps you will find one as well.

BTW, I noticed you had no real argument to counter my point...

As much as you post here, you really are weak at this debate stuff :-)

Reading these posts, I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry.

When you can't play the monopoly game of America with a lot of money, this is what happens.  When people rant about what other people earn or try to provide for themselves, they are not happen with their own situation, otherwise they wouldn't care, nay, they would cheer the union workers on for fighting for their ability to provide for their own families.

When the capitalists have us fighting among ourselves, we're even further sunk as a society.  Divide and conquer.

No wonder our socialist friends in other parts of the world think we're nuts when they see us struggle, sometimes life and death, with issues which they take for granted as fundamental rights, healthcare, a social safety net, education, a national pension, etc.

Let's pray for us all as a nation.  We need it.

Ultimate victory for the Political Class and they have made you into their puppets by turning brother against brother.

These are hardworking people just like every other working person. The political class has divided and conquered the masses and they are smiling all the way to power, money and glory.

Keep drinking.
