    I think that the fact that the swiftboat vets who support Mr.Kerry, who from what I understand make up everyone who was on his own boat, are not running around putting their face in every mcrophone that they can find is admirable.  It also indicates, to me, that they are more than likely speaking from the heart and not from some financed platform.
    It makes sense to hire something to defend you from attack when someone or a group is trying to attack you.  To do otherwise is stupid.  So where is your beef?

This is a group of pre-packaged, attack oriented, liars.  They are programmed to mislead.

The real Swiftboat veterans are not proprogrammed to get out into a public debate.  They simple state the truth and that's it.  There is no need for them to engage in the battle once again.

The facts are the facts.  Ask Jim Rassmussen, a Republican, who got pulled from the jaws of death by John Kerry.

It makes no sense to believe a bunch of pre-assembled guys over the the guy who was there, in the water, getting shot at.  They have a motivation to lie, Rassmussen does not.

The people who believe the attacks on Kerry probably think OJ Simpson is innocent.

There's another obvious question you forgot to ask: why isn;t the liberal media seeking out Kerry's swift boat crew mates to respond to these charges by people who even at the scene of the incidents that Kerry won his medals for.   You might also want to look into the funding sources for Swift Boat Veterans for "Truth" and you'll find links to long-time Bush supporters from Texas.
