When all else fails, co-opt the other guy's message.  Yes, apparently that's the new tactic.

You: Change
Me:  Change you can believe in

You:  established a grass-roots campaign
Me:   I'm a populist, Exhibit A, Wal-mart Mom Sarah.

You:  tax cut for 95% of Americans.
Me:   tax cut for ALL Americans (yeah, right)

You: George Bush policies have failed
Me:  George Bush policies have failed (even though I supported them 90% of the time for 8 years)

Sounds like someone is saying ANYTHING to get elected, huh Johnnie?

CHANGE --- geez what a bastardized word, it means nothing anymore.

Is the actual slogan. But I agree its been a little played out by both sides.

At least Obama will say what he is planning somewhat. All the Gop is saying is the usual "It wasnt me".

I think Palin is under strice orders from the GOP not to say anything ever again. Aside from the occasional "Johns a Maverick and hes got the scars to prove it".

McCain may try and latch on to labels, but Obama adopts the oppositions positions.

Suddenly after years of strict gun control, anti-off shore, no nuclear, and no controls on abortion he becomes opposed to strict gun control, pro offshore and nuclear, and even in favor of some limits on abortion.

(Or course, he says that with small print attached.)
