Clinton cozies up to the rich and mega rich, including Donald Trump himself on many occasions in the past. Many of these have mega-fucked the common people, especially the Wall Street crowd.  

Trump IS one of the mega-rich, but spends most of his time cozying up to the raunch and the mega-raunchy, including many of the lowest common denominator redneck-mutherfucker types who were fucked over by Wall Street.

Clinton is a qualified job applicant for POTUS. She is also one of the least trustworthy candidates in American history, disliked by many in the country, even among those who approve of her politics.

Trump is not a qualified job applicant for POTUS. Never was, never will be. Not based on the yardsticks used in every election until this one.

This time however, the PTB at the RNC and the MSM failed to take Trump seriously until he was too strong to be taken lightly. The lack of backbone among the other 16 clown-didates just made it easy for Trumps bellicose and bullying style to trample all over them. But he has more followers on social media than ALL of Congress added together. Trump is a qualified master of manipulating social media.
In today's superficial world, that has great value. And power.

Now, you can look at polls and media reports and say Trump has no chance.
Maybe not. But its far from over.

Those who threaten to pack their bags and get on the Barbra Express to Canada might want to make sure their passports and ex-pat documentation are in order. Just in case.

I'm not leaving regardless of who is elected but AFAIAC, the United States of America has already lost far more than just this election.

barring a health issue or something else at the last minute that might force Sec. Clinton out of the race, I think it's over.  

Why?  The swing states.  I just don't see Trump winning enough of them to make the difference.  He might edge closer in the overall vote by getting more votes in the traditional blue states that the Dems will still win but without the Ohios, Floridas, North Carolinas, New Mexicos, etc., he stands little or no chance.

He might win the Twitter ballot but while social media runs a great deal of the world in this day and age, it still hasn't taken over Presidential elections like it has American Idol, The Voice and Dancing with the Stars

Yes, it is over not only because of the swing state polls but also because I don’t think we’ve EVER seen a candidate do so poorly among minorities- Trump has at best 1% of the black vote, just a little more of the Hispanic vote, and the Muslim vote may be even less than the other two. George Wallace did better than that.

     His only real chance is a 100% turnout of blue collar white guys and a historic  poor turnout of Hillary voters who believe the race is already over. But I don’t think even Trump’s core base is that invested in him.  The guy is not even paying his campaign staff- Manaforte and Conway have not been paid per the NY Times.  This is usually the beginning of the end for a candidate. Meanwhile, Hillary is raking it in and probably giving raises. In an election year, I say follow the money.

      The real question is whether the landslide will carry the Dems to control of the Senate (likely) and maybe even the House (unlikely). But let’s be honest – since gaining control of Congress, have the Republicans accomplished anything aside from symbolic but fruitless votes to repeal Obamacare, suing the President, opposing common sense gun safety bills,  and blocking the appointment of the Obama admin SCOTUS nominee? Has there EVER been a worse Congress

No. And there is little chance of that improving  

but here he is, still standing.

I've said this since the beginning, but it bears repeating, Trump has always given the GOP their best chance of winning this cycle. Do any of you honestly think Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz or any of the other GOP candidates would be doing any better in the swing states? With the possible exception of John Kasich, no other GOP candidate would have stood a chance against the Clinton machine, all they could have done was "lose by a narrower margin"

The polls and the media have been wrong about Trump since the beginning. Trump's attack style of campaigning was much maligned in the primaries, but proved more than effective enough for him to win. NEVER has a candidate for POTUS had so many weaknesses to expose than Hillary. Lets see what happens when he starts hitting her and hitting her hard. This wasn't even supposed to be a race, this has been touted as a "coronation" for Hillary for the past 2 years. Trump has what I have always called a "punchers chance" to win. Count him out at your own peril.

BTW, I have never been able to stand the guy, but compared to Hillary, he looks like a fucking saint.

I'm 200% decided on NEVER Forrest Trump.
But, I have a hard time voting for HRC, given her reckless behaviors on handling classified info, and the dumb lies that she didn't know what "C" meant.
I want to see a first female president. Help us guys in this quandary. Give us 5 reasons to vote for her. Not just 5 X Trump. Otherwise I'll vote Jill Stein or write in Ivanka Trump!!

It doesn't matter how much support Trump enjoys among the minorities or what polls say. The only thing that matters is who shows up at the voting booth on November 7th.  

Hillary's support is soft, Trump's is hard. It's much harder to get yourself to vote against somebody and/or for somebody that you don't really care about, then to vote for someone that you're near fanatically obsessed over.  

If 10% of those who say they support Hillary don't show show up at the polls because they just can't see themselves getting excited enough to sacrifice their precious time in voting for Hillary (which I think exactly what will happen) Trump is the president and we got a fascist at the helm.

There has to be some sort of coming together and working on issues in order for that to work.  Bipartisanship is something that all legislators say is a good thing but almost all of them shy away from doing anything to make it happen.

On top of that, you need a President that makes an effort to bring the two sides together.  That is the only way it ever seems to happen.  President Obama has been atrocious at this.  As much as I still admire President Bush, I think he did a poor job of this as well.  The only times he seemed to bring the two sides together, it was for issues that have been panned regularly by both sides and the media (No Child Left Behind, the Medicare Prescription bill, etc.).

The last President to really oversee some semblance of a working Congress was President Reagan and much of that was likely due to his personal friendship with House Speaker Tip O'Neill.

Politics have changed drastically in the last few decades and social media will likely prevent anything that tries to revert to the old, somewhat bipartisan ways.  In today's world, you're labeled either a lib or a conservative.  A Dem or a Republican.  And there is no room in between.  And because of that, very little gets done when the two sides have to try to come together

I wouldn't put it past a person with your questionable moral character to make a bet with me at "even money" and then lay off the bet at track odds and make a profit no matter who wins.
