Isn't that getting to be a bit much? As soon as someone spouts that "hates Trump" mantra, one can tell that person is running from the facts. That distract, divert, shroud the truth tactic is disingenuous at best!
First of all, am confident few actually "hate" Trump. But the mere fact those words are being used as some type of rallying cry is truly pitiful and sheer deflection. Only a dummy of the nth degree would be unable to recognize that.
Yet having disdain for anyone who behaves as Trump does, lies as Trump does, skirts the issues and insults anyone who raises them as not to reveal his true inability to address those issues, should always be called out. No matter his/her party affiliation. That is a clear act of human decency and should be recognized as simple honesty, not shrouded in excremental remarks as some type of slur against the person calling out the hypocrisy.
Who worth their salt, would behave like a ninny, say stupid stuff, lie, and then when his/her words are printed or distributed verbatim, through other media, would call that "fake news?" That fact should be so revealing and something all Americans should universally be calling out. In New York, we have way too many who talk with excess bluster and are unable to match their rhetoric with action. We New Yorkers instantly call that person out, and refuse to waddle in their bull shit.

They were utterly uninterested in the facts, utterly uninterested in protecting the whistleblower even though he had no meaningful testimony to offer, and were more than happy to trash their democratic colleagues at every opportunity. Calling them a “cult” is not unreasonable, since cult members are typically blindly loyal to the leader no matter his faults, so maybe we should give Laffy some credit for coming up with that on his own.
I think Mr. Rich goes way too far, however, with the Hitler and Vichy comparisons. Trump is a sad, pathetic man woefully unqualified for a leadership position but he is not a murderous criminal (yes, I know I did point out that the four persons killed in the drone strike were effectively murdered by Trump but I doubt he gave the “collateral damage” any thought when he pulled the trigger, unlike Hitler. With respect to Obamacare, I defended the ACA as the best possible deal for the patient which is and remains true as a matter of policy, unless you never get sick- but that is the whole point of insurance. Many posts criticized other features of the ACA such as the Independent Advisory Board, doctor owned hospitals etc. You slept through these apparently.
All the drone posts were highly critical of Obama, and btw Jack I realize you are getting old, but really you completely forgot that you asked me two years ago if I had ever criticized Obama for drone strikes. but what he always leaves out is the acknowledgement that Iran would have the bomb now – if they wanted one – but for the Iran agreement, and that there is no basis to believe that a better deal could have been negotiated given the rapidly closing breakout time the Obama team faced.
But sure it would have been great to get every single thing he mentioned.

You mentioned the ACA. Clearly, minus big money interests and if our politicians were the least bit patriotic they would have leaned forward and offered so many constructive ways to make the ACA better than it is. In the end, we would not be talking about it, we would have the best, most cost-effective, healthcare system in the world. Instead, they throw every roadblock in its way, cause it to be riddled with artificial problems of their own making, and then place the blame where it does not belong. More distraction, deflection, and outright lying. Surely you must be seeing a pattern here.
