The two go together like pussy and cock.

If you want to eliminate corruption, eliminate concentrations of power. The only way to do that is to distribute power more equally.

That is why the Rangel story is such a yawn-feast. More corruption in Washington? Looks like it must be Wednesday.

I don't see it happening, but the son of a bitch should at least lose his pension for this. WTF, Rostenkowski kept his pension, even after serving time in federal prison.

I'm astonished not to see outrage over the guilty findings in 11 of the 12 charges brought internal to Congress for Rep. Rangel.  On so many fronts, this is disgusting.  First off, the story is already relegated to backpage news.... Secondly, nearly everyone in news media and Congress anticipates that the findings will bring nothing more than some form of Congressional record entry condemning his actions.  Possibly some small fine, but that's all anyone expects...  Surprisingly, they seem to suggest this is appropriate.  WTF?  Thirdly, where is law enforcement on this.  Where in the hell is the IRS?  How in the hell can he violate so many laws concerning non payment of taxes, failure to file tax reports, etc... and not one single word from anywhere about criminal charges.  WTF?

It is not heavily reported because Rangel's past legilative record supports the agenda that most of the major ideas that are supported by most of the large reporting agencies. As long as you are in basic agreement with the press then ethics don't matter.

collect all of Rangel's handkerchiefs, which probably run in the thousands and set them on fire. Well, I keep one, roll it in a ball, and shove it down his mother fucking throat. But that's just me.

While I'm at it, I would like Heath Shuler to call some of his retired teammates from the Redskins, Saints or Raiders, and lay a little helmet to helmet hit on Pelosi, Rangel, Hoyer, Waters, Clyburn, Waxman, etc. They are all over 70 and still working. Shuler is right that a change in leadership is required. Do it like sports and business. You lose and lose big, you fire the coaches, get rid of players, fire CEO's. But that's just me.
