If you read that politico article there is nothing that directly links zippy to changing a single vote. Let a lone a single electoral vote.

Shouldn't the U.S. media be able to do what zippy is accused of doing?

Hacking a server and meddeling in an election. Are about as different as left and right.

Can you comprehend the question I asked. I will add a few more words to that question, since basic straight to the point English is difficult for some.

Q. Should freedom of the press. Allow the US media to legally obtain information from political entities. Through the hacking of computer networks, and servers.

It's kind of lame to here RR explain that Russia hacked the DNC(election process). Yet Russia didn't change a single vote that was cast. Although Russian hackers influenced the election.

Still sounds like a big nothing burger. Yeah, yeah I know you'll pay for it Tuesday.

 
The only losers are going to be the American internet  users. When more regulations are imposed and signed into law.
