The Russian hackers covered their tracks so meticulously that they secretly remained inside the Democrats’ systems until October 2016, despite the efforts of a top U.S. cybersecurity firm to flush them out that began five months earlier.

If you read that politico article there is nothing that directly links zippy to changing a single vote. Let a lone a single electoral vote.

Shouldn't the U.S. media be able to do what zippy is accused of doing?

Hacking a server and meddeling in an election. Are about as different as left and right.

Can you comprehend the question I asked. I will add a few more words to that question, since basic straight to the point English is difficult for some.

Q. Should freedom of the press. Allow the US media to legally obtain information from political entities. Through the hacking of computer networks, and servers.

It's kind of lame to here RR explain that Russia hacked the DNC(election process). Yet Russia didn't change a single vote that was cast. Although Russian hackers influenced the election.

Still sounds like a big nothing burger. Yeah, yeah I know you'll pay for it Tuesday.

The only losers are going to be the American internet  users. When more regulations are imposed and signed into law.

She was living with a 56 year old "boy friend" IDed as "Person 1" in the indictment. Person 1 is Paul Erickson, a Republican operative with ties to the NRA, the Trump campaign, and Trump transition team.
.
"Maria Butina, 29, who was charged Monday with acting as an unregistered agent of the Russian Federation, had a relationship with an unnamed 56-year-old American who granted her access to influential American political figures and a gun rights group, federal prosecutors allege.
.
But the feds say Butina was just using the guy [see below] — identified in court papers as “U.S. Person 1” — and tried to bed at least one other person for favors.
.
“On at least one occasion, Butina offered an individual other than U.S. Person 1 sex in exchange for a position within a special interest organization,” the court papers read.
.
“Further, in papers seized by the FBI, Butina complained about living with U.S. Person 1 and expressed disdain for continuing to cohabitate with U.S. Person 1.”"
